I always enjoy going to Harrolds. Keep in mind that they are crazy busy on weekends & often also have live music. So, if you're wanting a quiet, calm dinner...this is not the place. The food is always good, but service is hit or miss.

Great food and service. The three of us had two hamburgers and a smoked tri tip sandwich for dinner. All were great and the tri tip sandwich was awesome. Very good French fries and cole slaw.

As the sun glared into my eyes, I was served a plate of spaghetti that was loaded with sugar, and slightly worse than some store bought jar sauces. The ribs were horrible, dry, and seemed to have been in a holding pattern for a few hours before they were served, (or I should say "finally served"). Put it this way,... More

Get this, live music, fall off the bone bbq, corn hole boards, full bar service with fun drinks and shot options, and people dancing up by the stage. There are boots hanging from the rafters and a big lady painting grinning at you on the wall. The menu is large and well executed. There is a lot of attention to... More

This was my last stop before leaving AZ. It was a really chill bar with super yummy food. The portion size is outta control (good!) and it was DELICIOUS! I ordered the carne Asada street tacos, they were bomb & they give you huge 32oz cups for your pleasure :)

We go out to the Southwest almost every year and we love this place. Last year we drove an hour from Sedona to eat here, it's that good! The food, service, and music are always the best. We were directed here by a suggestion from a local in 2006 and haven't missed it when we are out there one time!... More

My brother-in-law lives in Phoenix and visits this restaurant on a regular basis because he says he can count I'm good food and fun entertainment whether it's the music or the people that are entertaining him. The food was delicious. Don't set the bar too high here and you will be extremely pleased… It's fun and loose and very casual.... More

We came for lunch. We both had burgers, which were very good. The sweet potato fries were not hot which was unfortunate, we were really looking forward to them. Server was nice, but service was a bit slow considering they weren't busy.

In the 1930s, a man with the unlikely name of Johnny Walker built a bar called the Cave Creek Corral. Walker’s creation was an instant sensation with cowboys, playboys, politicians and laborers who gathered to drink A-1 beers at wooden tables under wanted posters.Harold Gavagan and his wife Ruth bought the Cave Creek Corral in the mid 1950s. Harold was quite a character, a depression-era Irish kid, a tough, but entertaining guy. Harold’s was a favorite movie location for Hollywood, attracting the likes of Dan Aykroyd, Bob Hope, Lynda Carter, Waylon Jennings and Dick Van Dyke. Cave Creek was not a short easy ride from Phoenix, in an effort to get visitors to Cave Creek, Harold acquired a trained lion and tiger act to entertain patrons.Once visitors were at Harold’s, he was concerned that they didn’t drink and stay long enough. So the building to the east of the restaurant became a bunkhouse, renting space for over night visitors.celebrities. Enjoy the fun atmosphere, interesting people and great food every day. We feature live country and western music Thursday-Sunday nights.Take a few minutes to browse the photographs on the walls of the characters and friends that frequent Harold’s.
