About
The Grotto Café opened its doors November of 2011 and is a family owned business. We serve award winning locally roasted organic coffee from the Roastery of Cave Creek right here in town, fresh bagel & pastries along with breakfast & lunch. We also have a liquor license to complement our food and atmosphere. Here at the Grotto Café we have one of the largest outdoor patio areas in all of Cave Creek. We also have plenty of indoor seating to accommodate guests all year. We've built a reputation for being a local hot spot for locals and new guests of all ages. We take a tremendous amount of pride in what we do and would love the opportunity to serve you soon!

What a lovely setting. We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful shady patio and felt very comfortable by the way they arranged the tables so everyone feels safe. My green salad with chicken salad on top was delicious and could easily be shared by two people. My...husband enjoyed his pulled pork sandwich. You order at the counter and they bring your food out to you. There is also in-door seating.More

I've been to this restaurant several times and it never disappoints. The sandwiches are great and the salads are fresh and delicious. Place your order at the counter and they will give you a number. Once your food is ready they will find you at...one of the tables. They also have outdoor tables where you can sit under a canopy of trees. After you finished your order take a look around at some of the shops that are just steps away. They have a tip jar near the cash register so please remember to leave some money of the staff. I noticed that they worked very hard and their customer service was wonderful. BTW - if you got anything out of this review please consider giving me a helpful vote. Thanks!!More

Really nice cafe that I would like to come for the next time. I will recommend it to my family and friends. I love the outside table which is really nice surrounded by green and nice atmosphere. I had a cup of gazpacho and iced...chai tea latte, they are delicious.More

We were spending most mornings at the Village Cafe and Creperie, but they were going to be closed one morning. They suggested Grotto Cafe as the best. They were right. Lovely atmosphere, fun lively service, and good food. We did return the next morning to...our regular haunt because we're faithful, but I'd recommend Grotto Cafe in a heartbeat.More

My husband and I enjoyed a lovely lunch at the Grotto Cafe on their outside patio. We ordered two sandwiches and shared halves; the BLTA Sandwich (applewood bacon, lettuce, tomato, avocado and mayo on toasted sourdough bread) and the Chicken Salad Sandwich (chopped chicken breast,...red onion, green apple, dried cranberries, pecans, lettuce and mayo on toasted cranberry walnut bread). Amazing! The outside patio was delightful with unique landscaping and shading from trees and umbrellas. The service on the patio was attentive and quick with food delivered, beverages refilled and tables cleaned. The Grotto Cafe knows what their customers want and they deliver. Join them for breakfast and lunch.More

Our hotel recommended the restaurant for breakfast. We got there late and had sandwiches. Generous portions with fresh ingredients. Coffee drinks were very good. Indoor and outdoor seating.

Coffee is excellent, food in very good. Only drawback is that it is so popular there are periods of long wait, particularly around lunch time. But service is pretty fast and the outdoor seating makes it worth the wait.

A wonderful and casual spot for salads, sandwiches or a drink. Dine outside when the weather permits or sit inside. Either way, it is a pleasant visit.
