I finally stopped after 22 years of just driving by on my way to Phoenix. Now we drive up to the junction all the time just for dinner. It's worth the drive. It's a family run business with AMAZING Mexican food. Everything is still made from scratch. The mild salsa is fantastic, ask for some hot just for the extra... More

I had some great tacos here served with with tasty rice and beans. Excellent chips and salsa. Wife had a good chili relleno and the place was clean and an easy pull off at Highway 79 and 77. The service was weak and surly -- some one was in a mood. Well priced.

We have been past this restaurant many times and decided to stop. The first thing we saw was no one was at the front to greet customers. We waited almost 15 min!! We had to walk into the back to find someone to help. The food was bland and the chips were stale.

Took a drive yesterday with no real destination in mind and ended up in Oracle Junction about lunchtime. When we turned the corner off of Highway 77 onto Highway 79, there was the restaurant. There were numerous cars in the parking lot, so we decided to try it. I ordered the Green Chili Mix Enchilada and my wife had the... More

We stopped here after going to the monastery in Florence but we were headed to Biosphere 2 and it was well after 1:00pm. The restaurant was pretty empty but we were pretty hungry and no place else showed up on Google maps nor Yelp and Trip Advisor showed nothing. Actually, it was quite good. Two of us just had cheese... More

Had not been here in some time. Same delicious food and friendly service. I had the D Combo , taco, enchilada, and a reg burro. Regular burros are bean, red Chile, and cheese. My friend had a chicken chimi and loved it. My husband had G Combo, cheese enchilada, Chile relleno, and reg burro. All of out plates were cleaned up.... More

We hadn't eaten at Lupe's for about 6 years because we didn't particularly care for the food. We went back last night with friends, and unfortunately, the food was average at best. We had everything from cheese enchiladas to combo plates, to a chicken burrito. None of us cleaned our plates. The service was good and pleasant, the margaritas were... More

Had lunch here whilst en route from Phoenix to Tucson. From the outside it looked a bit run-down but I was hungry and it seemed to be the only place for miles. I was pleasantly surprised - the food was basic, but good. The meat in my burrito was so tender it jsut melted, and the green sauce was a... More
