the omelet was under cooked and watery potatoes were over cooked coffee was bitter priced of the meal was too high we will never eat there again

After getting my coffee, i saw my waitress take an order from a couple who came in after, then process to work the counter, outside, get info from folks waiting at the door. And yeah it got stupid. After i told her i was leaving...and tried to pay for coffee, she said no charge, no sorry, no nothing...Now i get understand it was busy, but she really didn't give to hoots whether i was there or not. As a matter a fact she walked by me no less than 4 times, finally i had to say something...I have been there many times before and breakfast was fine as well as service, but not today...I'm in town for another 24 days, and wont eat breakfast at the Hampton...but now I need to find another BF joint...too bad... I had not been here for a long time but I loved it. Great location in Carefree with seating outside and in a small dining room. Great options for breakfast including many egg options. I will be going back again soon. Also had a great...cinnamon roll!!!More

Solid diner with a lot of food & beverage choices. The staff is very nice and eager to make you feel at home.

I sat on their adorable patio and had an amazing brunch on a recent solo vacation. It took a couple of minutes to get seated (I think most locals knew to just seat themselves) but once I sat down the service was great too.

Great cafe quick bite and casual - go to place that we love . We walk there and have a nice but quiet breakfast. Local gem for all.

We arrived at about 10 am on Sunday and it was me and two kids under 10 years of age. We were seated immediately and ordered within 5 minutes of being seated. We were not told the kitchen was backed up. The waitress kept coming...by our table and saying that the food was coming. After an hour, the kids were tired of sitting and hungry. I asked after the ONE HOUR was up to just pack up our meals. We then waited at the door for ANOTHER 20 minutes with kids chomping at the bit. We then received our food after ONE HOUR and TWENTY MINUTES Ordering. The waitress gave me the bagged up food and gave me a faint “sorry.” Really, a parent with two small children should have been told the wait time for food was OVER and hour BEFORE seating. I left stressed, tired and hungry. It was our first visit. We will never return. It was just not right. No one offered us any compensation or more than the weak “sorry” from the waitress handing over our bagged up food. Highly disappointedMore

This place had been recommended to us; however, it was a big disappointment. Service was terrible and the food was cold and mediocre. Like many places this business is struggling to have sufficient staffing; yet, instead of reducing the number of tables they were trying...to serve in order to do a better job, there were only two servers for about 25 tables (inside and outside) and no one received good service. We were seated about 30 minutes before anyone came to bring menus or take a drink order and that was a lady who said she was the dishwasher. When finally served, after waiting about 70 minutes, the food was cold and I never got part of what I ordered. By that time we just wanted to leave asap. The patio was charming; however, the poor service and food spoiled the experience. We have been in AZ for a week on vacation and this was, by far, our worst dining experience.More

Have eaten here three times in the last two months. Each time they were out of some part of the meal I wanted to order. There is a grocery store located about a city block distant. The flies are always present so you do have...entertainment. WE would all love to discover a hole in the wall joint that serves really good food at reasonable prices. Well, the prices are reasonable; everything else is right off the Shamrock truck. One of the ways I rate a restaurant is by the brand of ketchup they serve. Hunts and Heinz are not to be found here. This place cuts corners, as a guest for breakfast, I don't like it.More

Nice breakfast and friendly staff. Fast service. Good size portions. I ate inside but they also have a beautiful patio area.

Amazing breakfast. Truly enjoyed my entire meal. They provide large portions so come hungry. A must go to when visiting Carefree, Arizona / Spanish Village.

Stopped to get a drink while exploring the town. Our server was very friendly and our beverages were great. Check out their specials!
