We ate here twice on our vacation and loved it. It's cozy, the food is fantastic but what really impressed us was the staff. They were attentive, professional and so nice! You could tell they all worked really well together as a team. Highly recommend!
This place was fantastic! Immediate outdoor / safe seating. The staff was energetic and very helpful. They had corned beef hash as the daily special, which is one of my favorites! It took a few minutes longer to get the food, but they were busy...and our server never let our coffee cups get close to empty. The food was as good as I hoped and I probably ate too much. The variety of toast, jam, and other spreads was amazing. Nothing but compliments to this hidden gem in Carefree!More
The chicken fried steak looked and tasted pre-manufactured and previously frozen. The pork green chili was over-salted and a $5.00 up charge with no prior mention. Just a very disappointing meal that I wish I’d skipped.
I am on vacation in Phoenix Arizona and I come to this little town of carefree Arizona it's a little town with multi shops of all different kinds of ethnic cultures for the Western area. If you visit this area it is a must that...you come to the Black mountain coffee shop for breakfast lunch they are absolutely amazing and make sure you ask for a server called Shelly. if you have any other questions about this area and you've never visited email me at Dusty 1098 at gmail.comMore
Found this place by accident. We love the smaller family restaurants over corporate places. We had the breakfast sandwich on a bagel. Excellent choice. The highlight was the Black mountain cinnamon roll, which was homemade. Light fluffy and drizzled with homemade icing. A great find....Service (Brandy) was excellent and very helpful.More
I had the full breakfast including the cinnamon bun. Food ranged from good (eggs, hash browns and cinnamon bun) to mediocre (biscuits and gravy - canned??) but overall was ok, and I was full hone we left. Service was good and fast - we were...there early, shortly after 7amMore
