Very old classic style bar with history on the walls, wrapped around a high boy old style wooden bar and back, pool table and lot's of room in the back/side room. Great bar maid and signs everywhere. Just a fun place with some live music...too.More

We went to just about everywhere in Bisbee and this by far was the worse. The bartender was about as friendly as a rattlesnake. There were also two dogs in the bar. One was sitting on a bar stool at the bar (Pretty Cool), the...other though was a pug that was running back and forth on the bar, but when it was tired of doing that, they put it on the floor and it ran over pooped next to us. No one even attempted to clean it up. We left.........More

If you like dive bars, you will love this one, lots of character and "local" characters come and go. The bartender was very friendly and accommodating, come on in, they wont bite!

On my list for it's history of oldest in AZ, and recognized as a dive bar nationally. Didn't disappoint keeping my ear to the conversations, noting the characters around me in and out and at the bar. Lot's to read for sure and to view...all around on every wall nook and cranny. One drink was enough as I had other visits to make.More

I continue to visit this bar every time I'm in Bisbee. I've read some negative reviews and don't get it, unless they are a bunch of pampered millennial's .

Stopped in here for a quick beer on a very cold day. Preferred this spot to the upscale brewery up the hill. Lots of fun folks and tons of character here. Friendly bartender with a good attitude towards strangers.

I come in here every time I am in town and it is truly a locals pub with lots of colorful characters. “It was early in the evening when I reached this place. I could hear the thunder and feel the humidity of the impending...monsoon storms that were almost upon us. St. Elmo’s was packed so I pick the only seat at the bar and ordered a whiskey from the gorgeous little barkeep. Behind me, I heard voices rising and the fast struggling sound of shuffling of boots and shoes on the hardwood floor. Outside the scene burst into a street brawl with several independent skirmishes happening all over the place. Then the storm blew in drenching the entire drama with waves of rain that almost made it impossible to see Out from the crowd appeared the gorgeous bartender sporting a cowboy hat dripping with rain and with a cocked gun in each of her hands walked up and down the street barking profanity like an Irish nun she set the brawler on their way and we all went back inside for the discussion of fighting, drinking, women with guns and leaving very large tipsMore

went in for a drink and was asked if I wanted to bowl for a dildo. Horrible music. Everyone here looked like 3 miles of bad road- bartenders included. Drinks are overpriced compared to the rest of this town. Was charged $8.50 for a shot...of watered down whiskey. Let the locals keep this place.More
