It's the perfect dive bar; except with great music, a nicer atmosphere, and better service from the bartenders.

A unique spot in BZB, full of history and characters! Often live music in the bar. Dancing is allowed!

The only place we found open until 2 on a weeknight in Bisbee! Really cool local place though. You get a mix of everyone here from the locals who you can tell come here too often to all the tourists coming through town. Cheap drinks though, bartender was a blonde woman who was super cool! Pool tables and a long... More

It's a very eclectic crowd. There is lots of history on the wall. The gentleman behind the bar was super cool. The drinks are cheap and he pours them generously. I was there on a Saturday afternoon and it was pretty lively so I bet it gets pretty busy at night. It's a dive but I mean that in the... More

St Elmo's has a long history in the Gulch, a former saloon and red-light district in this old western town. The bar is worth a visit just for a sense of the history of the place, but it is usually crowded in the late nights and too seedy looking in the daytime for me to return. Their drinks are no... Bisbee is full of characters and this place the gathering place. Great bands but very crowded when great bands are playing. You can get as nutty as you want or just enjoy watching the other nuts.

We stopped in for a drink and ended up staying about 3 hours! The place was hopping! The locals were really friendly, bartenders were great! We felt at home there. It was my partners b-day and the locals & bartenders bought us both drinks & shots! Had a great time..will make it a point to stop by again on our... More

When visiting Bisbee from Tucson I think that on all but one trip over the past 26 years I've lived here I have most always manage a trip into St. Elmo's, hence this review. If you're used to swanky up scaled bars or martini hangouts - this ain't the place to go. There is a newer place across the street... More

Without the history to this place- it would be a below average airport motel-6 haunt. Drinks are cheap and strong, and although I heard their meatloaf sandwich was great, since there wasn't a server- it was whatever you could get from the bar and so I didn't get the chance to try. They had a pretty decent band, but not... More
