We chose this restaurant because it was slightly upscale and it was our anniversary. The food was delicious and not overly pricey. Highly recommend dates stuffed blue cheese! I had the flank steak with short rib ravioli and hubby had the pork tenderloin with rice....Also recommend the flan with pomegranate and cherries! They only offer take out right now, which is wise due to everything that's going on but they skimp on how well the food is at all.More

Thanks for spending your anniversary with us....even though we couldn't serve you our usual four courses. We certainly hope to be open for dine-in soon, but we are being very cautious in these contagious times-both for customers and our staff. We appreciate it that you...More
Café Roka is only doing takeout, but they are doing it with style. For those who could not get a reservation in times we once thought normal or those who thought this place was too expensive, do it now!
They have an amazingly efficient takeout...system. Order and pay online, then pick up 45 minutes later. They take phone and in-person orders too, but the online system is the way to go.
The place we stayed had a covered patio with a table and we had the best picnic of our lives. I miss the beautiful décor and impeccable service of the dining room, but the food was as spectacular as ever.
The menu is a limited standard lineup and a daily offering of specials of a different exotic cuisines. I think they chose offerings that travel well.
They offer superb items that may seem odd, but trust them, it always works. Who would have thought a stuffed date could be sublime?!?
Go now and enjoy the Café Roka experience at a bargain price at your place.More

It is a different experience as you have noted, but thank you for describing so well what we are doing . Virtual Date Night has been successful and enable us to 'keep the doors' open. We're glad to hear you had a great picnic. Food...More
ordered the mushrooms with veggies with rice and great sauce...omg a small dish but more than enough for me, so left overs for tomorrow. Great entire baguette of their wonderful bread with FOUR dips/spreads...and to top it off a bottle of Stella Artois beer. It...was a great way to end of the week, thank you staff at Cafe Roka for hanging in there and doing your best to keep things going. I can't begin to imagine what a struggle it is to maintain and "carry on." Thank you so much, food is always delicious and prepared perfectly.More

What nice compliments! Thank you so much...It is difficult, but we have been heartened by the response we have had to our 'date night' weekends. Rod, the chef, is trying to give a lot of different tastes and textures every weekend with our specials from...More
The coronavirus had many restaurants in Bisbee closed, or offering take-out only. While we were staying in a hotel across the street, we were not able to walk to the restaurant and order. One must order via the internet or by phone. We did this,...and 45 minutes later, received our food. The food was very good, but not exceptional.More

I was in Bisbee recently, and this nice place was only doing to-go orders during the Covid shut down. I had the ravioli with porcini. my wife had the Duck and a salad
We had a to-go bottle of wine @ 1/3 discount.
Good food,...and we will be back soon.More

We're glad you stopped by. Thanks for your review and hope you come again.
Unfortunately the dining room was not open due to covid so we had to get our food to go. We got the duck which was ok but the appetizers were DELICIOUS!!! We got the goat cheese stuffed peppers and the gorgonzola and bacon wrapped dates.

Thanks for your review. Hope to see you another time.
We came here on a coworker's recommendation and we are so glad we did. I would never have expected this type of restaurant in Bisbee. It's in what appears to be an old house, converted into a restaurant. We had a table on the upper...floor overlooking a live band. It's got a fine-dining feel to it but it's also a vacation spot so we didn't feel out of place in jeans and a nice shirt. The food was locally sourced and the chef deserves high praise. My wife had the duck breast and it was cooked to perfection, nice crispy skin. I opted for the braised short rib, also excellent. Both came at the server's recommendation so I would recommend following their recommendation. Also had some great local beers and a few glasses of wine to round out the evening. If we're ever back, this is our 1st stop!More

We do hope you come back. Our building survived the fire of 1906 because it was built using a new technology, bricks rather than wood. Initially it was a large department store separated by a huge sliding door. We are on the men's clothes side....More
We receive a recommendation from another couple visiting Bisbee who had been there on a few other occasions. We took there suggestion and glad we did. Reservations are definitely needed.More

Thanks for your review. And reservations prevent disappointment. We are often puzzled by the reference to being 'pricey' because we don't know who we are being compared with, nor the quality of the comparison. If it is Olive Garden or another chain such as Outback,...More
My husband and I arrived in Bisbee this afternoon and chose this restaurant. No reservations, it was busy so we ate at the bar. Lovely bartender, waitstaff and the food was just amazing. Good wine also. Brought home enough leftovers for at least another meal...for each of us. I’d definitely go back!More
