This is ok place for mexican food, not bad and not really good. They do give you plenty of chips and salsa.

Ordered two plates of nachos to go. Upon arriving saw what appeared to be a drug deal in the parking lot with one of there cooks or dishwasher people or whatever. Got home and opened the bag, they were a complete mess-burnt chips, everything was soggy, the lady told me there were no onions in the nachos and there were.... More

Ate there once. Poor service. Really terrible food. Very disappointed. Had lunch. But never again. Expensive.. Too many tables.

I don't have high expectations for Mexican in Alaska but this was a let down. It could have been good. The high points: the rice was flavorful and moist, my tamale was tasty. The bad: the tamale was simrgered in so much bland sauce and melted cheese that it ruined it, my chiles relanos had a very thick eggy batter... More

We were in town last year & found Hacienda through a recommendation from Mt View RV Park. This year, we had to go back! The meal was well prepared, the ingredients fresh (try the seafood), & the staff work together as a team.

Not bad but not great. Needs cheese in the chicken enchiladas - small things like that. Price is twice that of my favorite place - Costa Vida.

We live in California. Admittedly, California is a lot closer to Mexico than Alaska is, so perhaps it's not surprising that Alaskan Mexican food fell a little short of our expectations. It was fine, but not great. The flautas weren't very good, but the enchiladas were just fine. I'd recommend skipping the flan. Overall, you can expect a good meal... More

Hacienda has average food. I wouldn't rate it high in authentic Mexican but never is it considered "Bad". Their drinks are good and my friends often gather for a great margarita. Atmosphere is clean and comfortable. If you are looking for a good meal, not great, but good, and a really good margarita, Hacienda's is about the right place!

It took forever to get seated at 4pm so it certainly was not busy. The menu hasn't changed but we tend to order the same thing at local Mexican restaurants anyway for comparisons sake. The Pasole was good but there was no fresh cilantro to go with the chopped lettuce and radishes(?) . My double chili relleno plate was just... More

This restaurant smells Mexican and even has some of the flavors but it doesn't make the cut. I wish Wasilla would splurge and send the cooks and management to Mexico and let them learn! I think with a little push this could be a good place to eat.
