Top place for a quick meal in Valdez - popular with the locals, so that's a good sign. Sit in or outside. Good atmosphere.

We had dinner here during our stay in Valdez and thought the food was great. It is ultra casual - you wait for a free table and then sit down (you can also eat outside) and once you get a table, you place your order...at the window. The food - burgers (including salmon burgers), wraps, etc was great and the fries are made fresh from potatoes being peeled in the kitchen. Beer and wine (limited wine) is also available. This is a fun place and I would go again!More
Small shack with freshly prepared food. Funky atmosphere. I had a great cider but they also serve one of the best beers from my homecountry, La chouffe. Don’t skip this place when in Valdez
Amazing service and food in this small but loaded cafe. The smoked salmon chowder was pure creamy delight, the salmon roll fantastic and the rosemary potatoes to die for. Outdoor and indoor seating. Draft and canned beers. A must eat in Valdez.
This is located right next to the docks and I thought the menu had a pretty good variety and relatively decent prices. There’s both indoor and outdoor seating.
The place is close to the harbour in Valdez. We had ordered curly fries, salmon roll and black bean wrap. The food was good, price reasonable and large portions. I really enjoyed there curly fries
Found this place while we were walking along the harbor, the weather was perfect to eat outside. They were busy which is always a good sign and the food was delicious.
We had visited McCarthy and discovered this restaurant and were delighted that they had a location in Valdez. The location in Valdez is smaller than that of McCarthy, but just as good. For the area, it is reasonably priced. More seating outside than inside...but some...of both. Bathroom available inside. Serve yourself for silverwear/water/napkins/etc. Order at counter, and pick up food when ready.More
Went for lunch, the place was a little busy, the order took awhile to get, had to wait on the fries, we both had the cheesesteak, we agreed without the cheese, there wouldn't be a lot of flavor. Just okay for lunch
The steak and cheese was very good. The Mrs said the pulled pork was "ok", but the fries, rosemary and garlic, were the stars of the show. A huge basket that we couldn't stop eating.
If you love Fries, don't let this opportunity pass you by. it is a dive but the food is awesome. I had a yummy Salmon Roll, but shared Sputnik with my family. The sausage and gravy and cheese are so good.
Don't let the title fool you! It's a good thing - for breakfast, and when you have a long line, that's where you want to go!! A simple menu on board. I've had the Potatohead Burritos and that lasted me until dinner. When you put...in your order, it will be ready in 20-30 mins depending on what you ordered. We took a walk along the harbor and back to see a little more of Valdez while waiting for our breakfast. Oh - we ordered TO GO! And oh - this place offers Gluten Free.More
We stopped here on our travel home for beakfast. Would have tried other meals had we found earlier in our stay!! Sausage was tremendous - not positivie but I think they said they make it themselves. Loved that they didn't "judge" when I asked if...they had french fries that early - they did and they were delicious. (had not had french fries yet during our stay)More
Family friendly. The portions are good sized. The Spudnik Supreme (Eggs, clurly fries, covered in sausage gravy and cheese, topped with Jalapenos) is awesome! The sausage comes in chunks - not little tiny bits and pieces.
Nice place to sit by harbor and have meal. I had bean wrap, hubby had cheesesteak with fries. Both very good. Nice beer choices.
