Gem of a cafe by the beach. Friendly and welcoming service and the best fresh fish and chips. Fish was delicious and batter light and crispy.

Stopped in for a coffee one afternoon while holidaying in Newport. Nice selection of hot drinks and cakes. Very busy so clearly a popular spot for tourists and locals alike. Staff are very friendly. Would highly recommend after a walk along the Parrog!

A great little place for food in a beautiful location. Really attentive staff and couldn't have done enough for the 3 children we had in our group. They even displayed their colourings in on the wall. Food was excellent also. Will definitely be visiting again.

Had lunch here and was really pleased with what was served. Tasty and well priced. It appears to get very busy, so be prepared to wait a little for the food, but worth it when it comes. Great views from the windows over Newport bay.

A much better experience than last visit. Better selection of food and at a good price. Whitebait was popular throughout the restaurant. Two of our group had them and the other two had the cockles pasta. Deserts were very tasty. Staff were efficient and pleasant...More

Description
Morawelon is a friendly, family run restaurant overlooking Newport Bay. It has stunning sea views to the front and views of the Preseli hills to the rear. Morawelon offers a range of lunches from fresh local seafood to speciality sandwiches and on a Sunday we serve a Sunday roast (using meats from our local butchers). If you are not hungry, why not pop in for a fresh cup of coffee and a freshly baked Danish pastry or a delicious cake. To the rear we have A beautiful family run campsite that has been in our family since it opened in the early 1920's. Nestled between the backdrop of Carningli ( Mountain of Angels ) and the stunning waterfront sea views of Parrog and Newport sands ( often called Traeth Mawr which is Welsh for big beach). You really could not find a better location for a seaside holiday than this stunning campsite. We also have a holiday bungalow to rent throughout the year. It sleeps 8 to 10 people and has stunning views across Newport Bay.
