I rated this 3 stars not because of the food but service from our waitress. This is some of the best pizza we have ever eaten on a family trip. Priced fair, everyone left full and a great environment. What killed this trip for us...was the waitress., it was as though we were a burden to her. She spent the whole time talking at the counter to someone she apparently knew. The cook had to bring out our cheese sticks to the table, which she originally forgot. We didn’t get a refill or even a “is everything ok” until the very end of our meal and even then you can tell she didn’t care. A shame such an amazing little place has such poor service.More

Delicious food and relaxed atmosphere

We stopped here for lunch while strolling through the cute streets of Talkeetna. We had the Greek White pizza and hummus—both were delicious. The crust was flaky and bubbly. Loved the music playing and relaxed atmosphere. The pizza angel wings outside make for a perfect...photo op. Stop for a bite!More

Great Pizza

Stopped over in Talkeetna for a night on our way to Fairbanks and dropped in for a pizza and a beer. Though the season was definitely winding down the folks here are still going strong! Amber is awesome and took pity on us rookies :)...The carnivore was my choice and I washed it down with a Puffin Pale!More

Pizza in the wilderness

Needed vegan options. Flatbread seemed to do the trick. Had vegetarian pizza which was quite tasty. Outdoor seating for "ambiance" and safety.

Look Beyond The Pizza

Just because a restaurant has "pizza" in the name, don't discount other offerings on the menu! A look at the sandwiches led me to the Talkeetna, which was completely yummy!

29/30 Pizza -

Great food! Our pizza was amazing! We were sissies and did 29/30 toppings- hold the anchovies 😂. Entertainment 8/5 was great even though it poured!! Local beer was excellent- thanks for a great time on a crowded crazy night!

Not good

Ordered the five cheese pizza, nothing special at all about it, extremely thin, sauce had that puke taste, I would give it a 2 out of 10 and that's only because I've never seen a 1

It was ok

We ordered a pizza for pickup. It was ready when it was supposed to be. We had gluten-free crust with veggies. It was really dry because the sauce was minimal. Wouldn't have pizza there again, but I think they have other things that I'd try.

Excellent pizza - including a great GF one!!

My family ate here during our recent trip to Talkeenta. We loved the pizzas here! They even have a great tasting gluten-free crust that I ate. I had no issues afterwards either. We were grateful to find great tasting pizza that all of us could...eat.More

Just ok pizza but entertainment is good

Place was packed and the pizaa was ok but the generous outdoor seating with live music was pleasant. I had a ice spinach salad loaded with feta and other goodes in addition to a pleasant vinagarette dressing

Excellent vibes!

We stopped in at MHP for lunch with a family of 4. We ordered two 15" pizzas (Main St. Gossip and the Game On) both were really good! We ordered a large spring salad as well that could be a meal by itself. The homemade...dressing was delicious. This place can get very busy but it's well worth the wait. The atmosphere is fun! You can dine under cover in the event of sun or rain and the service was surprisingly quick. If you're into pizza and brew this is a good place to stop in! I do not think you'll be disappointed. Our entire bill was $76. For Alaska, and what we got, I thought it was a great deal.More

Great food and atmosphere

We came here for lunch and shared a few appies - jalapeno poppers, as well as an olive plate with flatbread, cheese, tomatoes and onions. Both were delicious. The outdoor seating area is nice and often features live music. Good service and beer selection!
