Come visit Talkeetna Spinach Bread in our new location summer 2018! We will be tucked between didi Dada and the K2 Gift Shop in downtown Talkeetna! We are a family owned and operated business since 2001. Come try our fresh food, made with love in our vintage Airstream.
The reviews were all very positive and boy were they right. The Spinach bread is delicious, and everything else they offer looked equally delicious. Definitely stop in to get some - you won't regret it. I was also very impressed, and appreciative of how well...they respected the COVID guidelines - all well done.More
If I'm at Salmon Stock, Forest Fair, or the State Fair I find myself stopping in to have some spinach bread every time. Now if I'm lucky to be in Talkeetna I grab a slice when I'm downtown also. They are more than just spinach...bread with great lemon aid and sweet treats but the spinach bread is what makes them famous. Don't be shy if there is a long line they keep things moving and you always get you bread quickly and fresh from the oven.More
We read several reviews and wanted to make sure we ate here before our Talkeetna visit ended. The spinach bread is incredible and as an added bonus, the Brazilian Limeade that was recommended by our server was also delicious.
This place had the most amazing spinach bread! It was a little pricey, although well worth it. It was a nice treat and they also offer other items as well. There is a daily special that is always changing. They have picnic tables so you...can sit down and enjoy your snack. This place is right along main street so it is in a really convenient location!More
Our daughter said that if we were in Talkeetna we needed to try the Spinach Bread...she was not wrong. We had a spinach bread and one of the Beef Tip specials. The girls working the counter were very friendly and gave us the local recommendations...on the best hiking trails in town (Talkeetna Lakes Park). Oh and don't forget to wash it all down with a limeade!More

Time to get food DEPENDS... This is not a traditional restaurant - it's a walk up food truck type service and has surprisingly awesome service, high quality food, desserts and homemade beverages - BEST we had in Talkeetna! (Ate at Roadhouse, Mountain High Pizza, Twister Cafe - all average). There are outside benches to sit on or take it to go. TIME to get food depends how long a line there is (which could be long if a train load of folks plus normal foot traffic are there at peak times. It's a quick walk from the train to the Main St area where Spinach bread (small airstream trailer) is made. Once ordered the spinach bread takes only 7 minutes in an oven to warm to perfection (crispy crust, melt cheese).
