Ganir is located upon the second level of the YCA building. The interior is small but has a TV you can watch. There is also outdoor covered seating where you can look out at the bay. This is not a bad place to capitalize on happy hour and grab a relatively cheap beer. Seating is wooden benches and your typical... More

I ate here a couple of times for lunch. The "Ramen Regular" features a bowl of noodles with vegetables, chicken and/or pork. The size is large. The dish is well flavored and tasty. An egg can be added on top for about 25 cents, if you order the "Ramen Special." The service is quick. This is very casual dining. It... More

I recently spent 3 weeks in Yap, eating at the Ganir virtually every night. I worked my way through the menu! The food is great. Staff are very friendly and the service is swift too. It's only a couple of hundred yards away from the Manta Ray Bay Resort, which makes it handy too.

Only ate there twice, but I was happy w/the food, especially the portions. The salisbury steak w/gravy was good, and came w/a huge serving of rice.

We checked other sources and found a lot of good reviews for this place. So... why not try it, right? Well, this place is a tease. -__- There's a really great menu on the corner wall (right above the cash register) that lists great prices for coconut crab and mangrove crab. When we asked about them, we found out that... More

The prices were very reasonable and the portions extravagant, the food was salty but deliciously fresh!

Two of us went to Ganir for dinner. Before we even sat down, the waiter gave us our menus. We ordered a cheeseburger with fries for $4.50 and a dinner special for $7.95. The mediocre food came and we ate most of it without enjoyment. When we went to the cashier to pay was when it got really bad. The... More

1 block from Manta Ray Bay Hotel, Ganir has a huge menu with a lot of choices. The Asian fare is extremely tasty and the portions are large. The dinner special which does not change is grilled local tuna, tuna shichimi, rice and veggies all for $7.99! Being only 1 block away and with fast service, this affords a place... More

The menu is not too huge but has American, Asian and Filipino food. The service is good, the cost very good and the food portions large and tasty. I particularly liked the Special Ubon noodles, outstanding! There is an outside deck or an air conditioned interior room. The furnishings are basic but comfortable.

Second floor in the Co-operative Mall in downtown Colonia, features both indoor seating and several outdoor tables overlooking the beautiful bay. Economically priced, good service, and a wide range of local dishes.
