We took a taxi from downtown, though you could walk it in 20-30 minutes. Smallish food selection but each dish exquisitely prepared. We were four and we had both fish and pork dishes which were all great. I will not describe them in detail, since the menus changes regularly, we had the in house daily prepared ice cream, today "Frutos... More

The best food, best view and best staff we encountered on our eight day tour of Spain. The restaurant is just outside Avila's historic city walls and across the river on the west side of the city. On entering the restaurant we were ushered one floor down in a small elevator to a beautiful outdoors area where our table for... More

Excellent wines with one of the most complete wines list. Kind people and view to "Las murallas de Avila". Try the Arenques or Nudo I de Morcilla.

One of the best restaurants I have ever been. The service is exquisite. The wine choice immense. And every single course: starters, main courses and desserts, are all delicious... You can feel the quality and freshness of the products. Let the maitre to give some advise...you won't regret it!

I chose this restaurant because of TA reviews, but we were positively surprised. Everything was top class (we`ve been to Michelin rated places). Service- from welcome through food advice, wine serving to preparing for us in fact menu degustacion (we wanted to share 3 starters and 4 main dishes between four of us and were served one after another dish... We wanted to experience this restaurant because of its high reputation in a number of travel guides. The meal did not disappoint. We deliberately chose two different starters and main courses and each was well prepared and presented with delicious flavours. Service was polite and attentive and there is an english menu for non Spanish speakers. Overall cost of €73,... More

Set in a renovated warehouse with views overlooking the Avila city walls, the interior has a modern "design" feel to it. Traditional local dishes, including the famous Chuleton of Avila, so come hungry! Mixed tapas to start with were very good. For those interested the bar has an extensive collection of single malt whiskys.

This restaurant outside the Avila walls is not within the usual path of an Avila tour but it is worth the extra ten minutes or so, to cross the bridge. An old warehouse has been converted into a fine dining restaurant with windows facing the legendary walls. The day we visited the appetizer special was grilled, and then lightly gratinated... More

Very good meal. The menu is not very long but enough because every plate has a very high quality and is original. I loved the quality of the service and the cooking. It is a very elegant space and you feel you are eating at a very special place but for a very good price (90€ for 2 persons with... More

Excellent food: fillet mignon, artichokes, asparagus, hamburgers, chocolate volcano. Very good service, though a bit slow. Great views of the city wall. Remember to ask for a good table when you make the booking. We will come back

Thank Cantustus
