We were promised tapas and wine tasting. There was limited tapas followed by meal of specially cooked pork - which WA mostly overcooked. The wine tasting was red or white! There were 19 of us crammed into a tiny room at the back with the extra delight of sitting next to the toilet as other customers were coming and going... More

A short stay in Avila and this was one of the highlights. Wonderful wines recommended by very knowledgeable Augusto. Delicious tapas and raciones, great atmosphere. Visited for lunch tapas X 1 and supper x 2 - had great time each visit.

We came here on a recommendation and were pleasantly surprised! The staff were lovely and you get loads of free tapas. Amazing if you love wines but I had beer which was OK. You can order more tapas but they will give you more anyway! A great atmosphere.

We went there on first evening in Avila and felt bit dissapointed. Atmosphere seemed great - when we entered as it was full of people. We were lucky to find a small table and two chairs and ordered 2 toasts and dish of fried chorizo. And wine off course - small tapa accompanied the glasses of wine. But after ordering... More

Our first night in Avila we happened upon this place and had a great experience. The staff recommended some wines that were not from Avila but that were from the Valladolid area. We were treated to some very nice tapas with our glasses of wine. The food was very good. We ordered some additional food and everything was great. On... More

Had lunch at this tiny tapas place. There is a wide selection to choose from and the quality is excellent. However watch out when you order the portions. We requested the half-portions of many dishes, were served some rather generous portions and in fact were charged for whole portions. My two children enjoyed the food so much and quality was... A visit to this charming place is a must - we ended up here by accident after searching out Spanish gins, we were drawn in by the amazing selection of drinks on offer and ended up eating here three nights in a row, as others have said, a charming local find amidst tourist traps. Let the staff choose the wine... More

We went here on two evenings; it was a real treat. Their wines are excellent which we enjoyed and they do a very good cheese plate. It was home from home. Augusto was absolutely charming; an excellent business man. On our second visit here we were literally under the television. Spain were playing a match and there was I thinking... More

The variety of wine that you can get from this shop is amazing. I decided to try the local wine, wine from avila. It was okay. With every wine they give you a tapas. Not knowing that I ordered another two tapas on the side. So I'm definitely filled now. I had two wines (with their tapas) and two tapas... More
