I stopped by chance to have dinner at the Vietdiscovery Restaurant with some friend and we loved it! We had a delicious meet hotpot and would have loved to have enough appetite to try all the other dishes on the menu! I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to try authentic vietnamese food in a local atmosphere!

I went to have dinner in Vietdiscovery restaurant with some friends and really enjoyed it. We had a delicious hotpot with fresh meet and vegetables and we even try horse penis! The staff is very friendly and you find yourself in a authentic vietnamese atmosphere. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want to try real vietnamese food!

I enter the restaurant, a waiter approaces and when I ask to be seated, he says there's no free table, despite the place is only half full. I guess it's because I'm a westerner and everybody else was viet? Avoid!

Once again - ignore the one or two criticisms and eat at a place that offers only Vietnamese cuisine, most of which are regional. No problem with English speaking staff or finding an English menu. Expect a boisterous scene with lots of locals drinking some of the restaurants homemade wines and liquors...including horse penis liquor (we didn't try it). Food... More

This restaurant is located in the center of Sapa town. It is a nice and cozy restaurant. We had dinner with salmon hot pot at this restaurant. The food is good and fresh. Everything was prepared when we come. The staff is friendly. But, it seem lack of light and a litle bit dark in the restaurant.

We do not agree with the poor review above. We had lunch on a Monday afternoon, 12:30th. This is our third day of meals in Spa. The food here is good standard network reasonably priced. We discovered that meat dishes are generally more pricy in Sapa. Sapa is known for its vegetables and it's very tasty so that's what you... More

Hidden Gem The food was excellent in taste, quality, quantity and value and a very big added bonus was the very entertaining hilltribe dance show which we saw on a Wednesday around 7:30pm. We, a family of three, had grilled beef in the iron pan 90k, mixed fried rice 35k, a fried vegetable dish 35k, three Hanoi beers at 15k... More

Far from the main street is this restaurant where normally Vietnamese groups eat. THat makes it noisy and stressful. The area is also n ot really nice for westerners. Better places to find.
