Taman Nauli translates to "Beautiful Garden", in the sumatran language. A spacious garden with water way streaming throughout the property, with antique Indonesian architecture placed throughout the property, giving a sense of the diverse Indonesian culture. The Restaurant: Serving you a variety of different cuisine from western to asian, also having a small asian fusion section in our menu. Having coffee, healthy cold press juices and when you're feeling it also have a great selection of cocktails and wine. Open from 8:00 am to 11:00pm Boutique Hotel: Yes we also have a Boutique Hotel on the same property. Having a industrial history, the Boutique Hotel has exposed bricks mixed with 100% reclaimed wood as the theme, with a sleek modern twist. With nature surrounding us it gives a sense of the countryside. Nauli Yoga: Having a yoga studio we do a variety of yoga classes, starting from Ashtanga, Hatha, Vinyasa and much more. All out instructors are qualified professionals

I spent several months in Canggu and I definitely put Taman Nauli on the top of the list of my best tips in the area. Food is excellent and very cheap. The staff is very respectful and careful. About yoga classes, they are also the best according to me. I recommend Ashtanga with Aliki. She is really a passionate and really good teacher. Plus, she does everything to make you comfortable and helps you getting better and better. I recommend this place to all those who want to feel in the real Bali thanks to the authenticity of the place. Can’t wait to come back.

This place is just gorgeous. We had room 6 which had a little outdoor sitting area. It used to be a clothing factory and the owner has salvaged some vintage items and recycled and reworked them into quirky pieces of art. Vintage lovers will love this place. Outdoor shower was gorgeous. it overlooks a palm tree field and there is beautiful sculptures and plants everywhere. Air conditioning was wonderful and kept the room icy cold. Rustic vibes and pretty lighting at night. It’s only about 3km from Batu Balong but lots of traffic and uneven footpath would make the walk about 45 mins or so? This place hires bikes for 750 rupiah but we GOJEKed into the main part and hired a bike from there and rode around for a while as it’s much quieter here to practice. Then we were ready to join the mad traffic. Taman Nauli has a cute restaurant where the food is lovely. Owner has a very nice steel stringed guitar and a djembe for anyone to use and he is organising jam nights on a Friday night with local musicians. They are kick arse and can do many western songs. I had sing with them. Also a yoga studio on site and some nice souvenirs to purchase. Right next door to a supermarket and chemist so you don’t even have to leave for the first day or so to get yourself settled. Highly recommend!!!

This hotel is pretty, the staff is very helpful and friendly. We chose the room with the bathroom outside, the only problem were the mosquitoes, they have many small places to go inside the room, it’s the price for this beautiful decoration... and the room didn’t have any wardrobe. But in general a good option.

It's sad that a place that offers yoga, vegetarian and vegan food, forget the commitment with the environment. Every time I ask for a green juice for take away. Unfortunately is coming full of plastic. Plastic straw, plastic bag. Etc. Please guys there are plenty of options to plastic! You know how polluted is Bali already. And the world! Small changes makE a big difference.

After travelling for 2 hours I arrived at the hotel. No one helped me with my bag (which was left in the sun for 20 minutes).
I was then casually told by someone walking by that they had overbooked and my room was not available tonight. NO APOLOGY. She didn’t even stop and look into my eyes. She couldn’t even say sorry. She didn’t care at all.
I sat in the restaurant to use my phone to find another hotel. I was not offered a drink or any service at all.
I had already prepaid for two nights via Agoda. When I asked if I was able to get a refund I was ignored.
I have never been treated so poorly.
Don’t waste your time with this place!!!!

I went for dinner there few days ago, food was alright but when I paid the bill and left two 50k notes, waitress never came back with my change. 10min later I approached her asking about the change and she lied to me that I left 50k and 20k notes when I didn't even 20k notes on me.
Beware of similar situations if you end up paying by cash there!

I love everything about Taman Nauli! It is tucked in a lush garden about 3-5 min motorbike ride to the center and beaches, and a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of Canggu. The entire property and the rooms are well decorated with ancient and unique Javanese furnitures. Rooms are spacious and comes with an outdoor bathroom. Breakfast is also included and we also tried eating lunch there. Although they offer limited food choices, all the meals we've tried were delicious. We also enjoyed the yoga class we tried one morning. The staff are all friendly and helpful and made our stay pleasant. If ever I find myself in Canggu again, I would come back and stay in Taman Nauli.

Room: The room very spacious and clean. Interior very unique and Balinese.
Staff: Very very very helpful, friendly and humble. This one really added value to the ratings.
Breakfast: it’s not a big spread since they only have few units. Breakfast were only few options yet it is sooo good!
Place: well kept, nature ambiance, unique balinese. Minus point due to noise of the traffic. Cos the place is so close to the main road.
Additional: they surprise my hubby’s birthday at their courtyard with cake and candles! Sooo nice and we were flattered.
Reasonable price! Would highly recommended!!!!!

Taman Nauli is set among lush tropical gardens and is a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of Canggu.
There is plenty of parking within the grounds.
The rooms are beautifully decorated with antique Javanese furniture and have comfy beds with good quality sheets and pillows. There are outdoor bathrooms with rain shower, robes and toiletries, including conditioner, which many guesthouses don’t have.
Breakfast is included and it was delicious. We ate dinner there too and were impressed with the food and the good selection of wines on offer.
I also enjoyed the yoga class in the morning, there are several different types each day to choose from.
The staff at Taman Nauli are all very friendly and helpful.
I would highly recommend this guesthouse if you are looking for somewhere to stay in the Canggu area.

This place used to be a factory and it’s been renovated beautifully to a bed & breakfast. It’s rustic and brought out the aesthetics of bali. It’s lovely to see dogs, cats, chickens and roosters roaming freely.. it’s extremely relaxing. The rooms are beautifully done up. If you’re looking for an alternative from a villa stay, you can consider this!
However there are a few things they must improve on.
1. Hairdryers - the entire place shares ONE. And it’s very frustrating. Everytime I needed one, I had to ask 3-4 people and each time I was disappointed until I realize they only have one. I think it’s a shame that they created such a beautiful place only to let it down by missing on the basics
2. Phones - everytime you need something, you need to leave your room and hunt down someone.
3. Slow service - don’t get me wrong, everyone’s very warm and kind but their service is so slow, it takes them more than 30 mins to serve you your meal
4. Poorly lit entrance area - it’s very dark at the entrance and it’s quite dangerous to walk through that because the floors aren’t even.
All in all, it’s a cool place but not perfect yet. They still have a lot of work to do! I’d still recommend it to people because it was a lovely relaxing stay.

We went with some friends for dinner at this place.
The ambient is very nice, big area with a lot of space.
We order and we had to wait more than an hour to bring us the dinner.
The food is normal, nothing special.

If you are looking for a perfect Bali Village type of experience, then this is the place to stay, North West of North Kuta, 20-25 minutes from Kuta.
The owners have spent several years renovating what was an old sewing facility and transformed it into the best place we have ever had the pleasure of staying in. The main building houses approximately 12 rooms with more being completed.
We were warmly welcomed by the very friendly staff and our room was massive. The owner and his daughter have decorated the whole place with many of their old eclectic nic-nacs which gave it the whole homely feeling.
It is very well run and organised and the food was magnificent. Their chef would cook for your needs and dietary requirements. They also have an exclusive Yoga master operating daily classes for those who like to practice or meditate.
There is also ample parking for both cars, vans and motorbikes/scooters with easy access to all main roads in central Canggu.
I would highly recommend Taman Nauli to any traveller who is looking for the perfect stay.

Me and my husband decided to spend the last 2 night in this bed and breakfast. Booking it at least 3 weeks in advance, I was pretty excited.
When we arrived everything seemed very fine to me, however once we paid for the whole stay (cash), we were shown our room. And then it hit me that the room is completely different to what we were promised! We went to the receptionist and explained the situation, she nicely showed us another 2 rooms, and guess what?! The weren’t different from the first one! However still not what I saw on booking.com when I decided to book this place!
The room was tiny, it smelled of mold and it was superbly dark! We were promised a spacious room with plenty of light, outdoor shower! In reality it was nothing like that! Huge huge huge disappointment!
Within few minutes we came decided that we don’t want to stay a minute longer there!
So I talked to the receptionist if we can have our money back. Firstly she refused it, but then after taking to management (the management was away from the hotel, which I found weird but anyways), she told me we can only get half of our money back!!! I kindly explained what was wrong (the difference between what I was promised and what I’ve seen), I was told “sorry, we only have one picture of the room, but the other rooms are different and we do not show it”. We just paid everything in cash and obviously we were scammed, and I was told that I can’t have my money back after I got scammed! It left me very confused!
I highly do not recommend to stay here unless you make sure that you get what you were promised!
P.S. I have attached the pictures of what we were promised and what we got. COMPLETE DISAPPOINTMENT!!!

We stayed here for 3 nights and really enjoyed our breakfast every morning. The place is a little loud as it's on a main road and you hear motorbikes beeping all the time. But the staff are helpful and the rooms are lovely with a great outdoor shower.
