More TV screens than waitstaff but very impressive selection of craft beers -- both local and from the lower 48. Food was as expected for a sports bar. Service was slow but the place was packed and the crew did the best they could under...the circumstances. Just settle in, watch some sports and enjoy a pint or two.More

Coldest beer I ever had. Great food friendly service. The place to go for meals and snacks in Kodiak. A local hot spot for sure

We had two meals at Henry's. Both were not bad, but neither were memorable. The service was very good on both occasions. Prices were fair for what we ordered.

Large portions, good flavor, great service. A little pricey, but you are in Kodiak Alaska so it’s to be expected.

Great experience and service, just delicious. One of the best clam chowders I've ever had (and I used to live in New England)

My wife and I went to Henry's on a visit. While many felt it was the best restaurant in town, we didn't think it was so wonderful. The dinner we had was nice, but relatively pricey for what we had and there was a large,...somewhat drunken party at the table next to us. It is convenient, located in a shopping center right by the main port, and lives up to the hearty, frontier image of Kodiak. A good place for tourists.More

Called ahead and while they don't take reservations, they DO work with you to coordinate your arrival and the availability of your table. VERY full menu and great service both times we went there.

The good - this is fine pub food. Service was good, food is fine, beer is cold. Lots of deep fried food available but it hit the spot after a long day fishing.

This is just the kind of place you want in Kodiak. Fun and friendly. Decor ranging from old Coca-Cola lights to fine local art. Great beer and cheese curds in addition to delicious seafood. We went twice and had a great experience both times.

While visiting Kodiak we ate at Henry's 3 times--twice for lunch and once for dinner. We had between 5 and 9 people in our party each meal and everyone was very pleased with the service and the their meals.

This restaurant was highly rated to me. I was severely jet lagged & hadn’t had breakfast or lunch when I arrived on island. I went wHenry’s. I appreciated the flight of craft beer I got to try, but disappointed in the afternoon menu. Most foods...were fried. I came to AK for seafood. The only seafood I could find that wasn’t fried was the grilled cod sandwich, which was delicious. But I was disappointed in the lack of choices between lunch & dinner. I was also not accustomed to AK prices.More

Yes, it used to say "Solly's Office" on the front of the building. There were offices upstairs. Really. And a sauna. I played country/rock music there in the 70's. It was across the alleyway from Tony's.
