This restaurant is advertised very heavily on the few local radio stations and so we gave it a try. The atmosphere was exciting an fun to be around. We came at a busy time an had to wait for a bit to be seated. The food came out in a fairly reasonable time and was tasty and hit the spot.... More

Nice place to stop and grab lunch or dinner and a beer with locals. Tried the lottery pull taps for a little fun. Catch up on sports while you enjoy your budget right by the docks.

Had local beer- sunshine and Amber, and fish and chips. Beer was excellent, fish and chips generous and OK, lots of "Local" color

The beer list is stellar. This is the place to go after your 2 at the brewery. The food is pretty good. One of the better places to hit in Kodiak. Big food selection should cover everyone in your party. TVs. Amazing beer selection.

Two of us ordered the BLTs. They arrived after a long wait and were way over toasted - not quite burnt but almost. We ate them anyway and ended up with raw skin on the roofs of our mouths for a couple of days. The Arnold Palmers were watered down so we got fresh ones that were just as bad.... More

Went for dinner the first night of our stay here in Kodiak. The waitress acted like we were bothering her. Not pleasant at all. I ordered the fish and chips and my husband had the crawfish pie. The food was good tasting but the fries were not hot. The atmosphere was definitely a bar.

Henry's was recommended to us by the guide from our bear tour, and it did not disappoint. Had the fish and chips twice and the smoked salmon and both were really good. They have a surprisingly large selection of beers on tap, and the beer sampler was very good. The restaurant was clean and the staff friendly.

Hamburgers are one of their specialties but we had local fish specialties including a goulash that had 6 different fish. For another meal we had amber cod for fish and chips. Food was good. Sort of messy on the floor with used gambling cards. Busy and a bit noisy.

The title probably says it all. Henry's always has a great variety of beer and my wife and I really enjoyed the fish and chips. Interestingly, we always enjoyed the halibut and chips but, these days, with the current price of halibut, they switched to cod. The good news is that cod really makes for really good fish and chips... More

Sorry but what I saw in there shocked me. There was the very young woman with the newborn on her hip playing at the gambling card bar. No one should be allowed to be at any bar with a child that way. Second, I came in for what would have been my second dinner there - just to give them... More
