Every morsel that I have eaten at the Alaska Fish House has been exquisite! They really know how to make the wonderful flavors shine through in every recipe. The view of the harbor is a lovely to enjoy and you can sit outdoors on a nice day! As a local, I will return again and again!

There was a big line when we got there for lunch, but the wait was worth it. The Salmon and Halibut fish and chips were the best I'd ever had, but the cod was very strong, not the mild fish I'm used to. Fries were good but the coleslaw was not for me. I'm picky about coleslaw so don't let... More

The Alaska Fish House is a friendly warm atmosphere. You could eat inside our out and there was a fireplace inside. You could also watch the boats & see a few eagles from the tables by windows. I wouldn't hesitate to take my family there. The service was good and the fish and chips were the best I've had. We... More

Right on the water this is the place to enjoy fish in Ketchikan. You order first and then find a seat, love that you can help yourself to a glass of iced water. Pot belly stove to keep you snug on the coldest day.

Typical lunch menu for tourism highlighting the area. A little pricey, a little less-than-expected upon delivery. Great views next to the wood stove. No formal waitstaff, so you may have to stand and wait for squatters to leave before a seat to eat your meal.

I had the fish and chips sampler - alaskan cod, halibut and salmon. The most delicious fish and chips I think I've ever had. Plus, there's a bar, AND a great view of the harbor! Can get crowded so prepare to wait a little bit for an open table (but you can sit with other people if there's enough room,... More

The Alaska Fish House is a smallish restaurant near the waterfront. You walk up to a counter and order for eat in or take out. Make sure to order the three fish Fish and Chips. You get cod, halibut, and salmon. And the breading is really good, with just the right about of spice.

We were there in very early May, the beginning of the cruising season. The crossing guard at one of the intersections recommended it when we asked him. So grateful for the tip! The food was fresh and outstanding! The beer was great and fresh. We had the ordinary (not salmon, not halibut) fish and chips, and enjoyed it all! It... More
