Love this pub. Friendly staff, easy to find a place to sit, food comes out fast and is delicious. Totally affordable. Nice beer selection.

While we sat in the bar area to enjoy sports playing at the time, there was a restaurant element to the place as well. The food was good and it was an overall casual atmosphere. If you like casual dining experiences, this is a great...stop.More

Large place on the Juneau waterfront. Had fish chowder and beer. Seemed like an average, casual place for food and drinks. On Sunday afternoon all of the TVs were on football games.

I only gave this four out of five because of some minor issues. First, it was somewhat hard to get seated. That is my fault as I should have made a reservation. Re-read that last sentence. I went in cold and the place was packed...and if you want a window seat to see the water good luck. I managed to get one close by and that was ok. The food was good. However, the sauce that came with, not so much. I had the duo plate of Halibut and Salmon with rice pilaf and broccoli. The not so much part was there was a cherry sauce that came with it. Cherry sauce and fish no thank you people. Other wise it was excellent and very reasonably priced. I did have a glass of white wine that also was delicious. My waitress was above average and made the place. This restaurant has a good reputation and I see why. I would recommend going. Thank you.More

I watched a busier wipe his nose repeatedly with a bar towel. I was so grossed out I couldn’t finish my meal. I never write reviews. I’m hard to displease. This was the worst thing I’ve seen anyone do in over 20 years of working...in the restaurant industry.More

We stopped in for lunch. We both started off by ordering beers. After a bit, I ordered the salmon dip, and my wife ordered the seafood chowder. Along with that, we ordered a side of sourdough bread. When the food came out, my wife's chowder...was so hot she couldn't eat it. But once it cooled off, it was filled with chunks of halibut and salmon. She really thought it was wonderful. My salmon dip was good, but not great. It seemed like processed salmon and not fresh Alaskan salmon Service was good considering how busy it was. We'd recommend heading there on your next cruise.More

Great food and friendly service. Wonderful rich and filling chowder. King crab best value in the downtown area. Went at prime time with 5 ships docked and wait was a very reasonable 15 minutes.

We waited over an hour for a table. We were seated and the server came over and handed menus. 30 minutes later as we did not order because she never came back.

Waitress 2nd day of training. Music so loud my ears burned. no exaggeration. Food came - no silverware after asking three times. Waitress said they had ti wash the silverware. Another table asked for silverware - they got it from the food runner. Food was...cold. Burger does not look like the picture above. Mine was paper thin, and still they managed not to cook it through. Didn’t bring the toppings that go on the burger - fried onions and mushrooms - the staff hadn’t completed the order. By the time we had silverware and were able to eat - food was cold, and inedible. The sweet potatoes were good - though cold. The waitress said the manager would comp us only 20%. Odd. What I realized later that 20% was the expected tip. On the bottom of the receipt where it sometimes listsTips amount suggestions - The amounts were ‘0.00”. Really bad night for the waitress - and only her 2nd day. But what is the kitchen’s excuse? Or the managers poor response?More

Great place for a casual meal of local halibut fish and chips. Sit outside if the weather permits for a view of the inlet and the seaplanes taking off and landing. Friendly service.

Made a reservation at 7pm the morning of our visit for a party of 3. It was a Thursday, but thank goodness we did as it started to rain and the place was packed with an hour wait. Great service with a nice selection of...beers on tap and good wine list. Service was the best part though! Solid food choices with three entrees of fettuccine alfredo topped with salmon, awesome grilled halibut sandwich and a big bowl of scallop & salmon chowder. Everyone was happy and prices were reasonable for a nicer restaurant in the high season. Crowd was probably a 50/50 mix of locals and tourists which is be expected for Summer in Alaska. Will definitely repeat if in town again. FYI, they have an awesome looking outdoor patio on the water if its not raining.More

Right on the harbor front. May be one of the few places in town that you can get fish that's not deep fried and also vegetables. I would go with a grilled fish without the sauces - I had citrus salmon and it was good...but overwhelmed by the sauce. My husband just had his grilled and that looked tastier.More
