This restaurant had really great atmosphere but the food didnt match. They were out of most dinner items. So we stuck with chicken wings. The salads were terrible. The salmon(when they had it) was dry. Buffalo burgers were good

Pass. Rude bartenders. Dirty decor. Not the atmosphere I would expect from such a naturally beautiful place. Hopefully we can find some places more our style.

An old Juneau bar. Lots of curios adorning the walls and ceiling. The drink prices are average for Juneau and the food is good value and quite good. Everyone should drop in for at least one quick drink.

The Red Dog Saloon is very popular during the cruise ship season, people lining up to get into this place. But now it's dead quite, which makes it easy to come in for a meal here. Tonight, we decided to try their flat iron steak...plus mushrooms and onions, you may also add shrimp. We asked for rare and it arrived that way, so the cooking doneness is accurate. We should have asked for it medium rare, lightly seasoned, served with asparagus and baby potatoes. Added a house salad minus the olives. That was enough food to share and was pretty tasty. We also ordered dessert which was a slice of chocolate peanut butter cake, fairly decadent and pretty sweet. On prior visits, we ordered soups, and it was bad on separate occasions, so that isn't recommended, way too salty, as was their popcorn. The service was good, food arrived quickly since it was very quite, free Wi-Fi, credit cards accepted.More

Good beer and food selection. I recommend the onion rings and chips and queso, they're delicious! Neat atmosphere and history. Prices are reasonable and the service is quick

The food was great. The staff was accommodating. The beer selection was on point. My entire family of 5 enjoyed their meal. I would definitely recommend to a friend....or a enemy!

While in Juneau you must make some time for the Red Dog Saloon. Waitress are so much fun, dressed up like its the Klondike era. Sawdust on the ground. All around a great atmosphere. They had live music & if the walls could talk in...this place it would be incredible. At least there is tons of things on the walls that can really paint you a store. There is also a souvenir shop attached.More

We just stopped in for the Duck Fart shot and it is worth it. Not sure about food or anything else as our stay was brief but the location is great right near wharf and other shops, restaurantns, etc. The ambiance was unique and fun....Looks like a quality establishment and the Duck Fart is something you have to try - layered Baileys, Kahlua and Crown.More

Food was ok, but the experience is why you come here. I do feel that if I were to live here I might not visit much, once the novelty of a long standing place with Wyatt Earps gun wore off. Definitely worth doing once, though.

We were looking for a place to get a beer and some lunch and decided on the Red Dog Saloon. This place has a great Old Time Atmosphere with the sawdust floor and the decor. We could have spent half a day in there just...looking at all of the wall (and ceiling) hangings and taking in the Atmosphere. The Food was good, the Beer was cold and the Entertainment was Entertaining! (We found our Princess Cruise Ship Director singing and playing the harmonica with the daily live Entertainment). Definately recommend checking this place out while in Juneau!More

We were there while in port on a cruise. It was September and 11 a.m. but there was no music. I would believe that they would post it on their website.

They are not a reservation type of place. Fun place to hang out it. Great live singing during the summer. Good ole country boy singing and playing his guitar when we were there. It is a fun night. Beer is cold and food... More

They watch the port schedule to insure they are open when the ships arrive.
