We Had the salmon and halibut dinners..both were superb. Nicely prepared and good portion of seafood. Excellent cookies and desserts. Casual atmosphere and good service. Would highly recommend!!! Wish we would have had a not her nite in town to go back

We ate here in late August. Our waitress was friendly but the service was too slow. We waited about 20 min for our salad and fondue....the appetizers. Then another 15 min for the buttermilk chicken. It was semi-busy, but it seemed like food was tardy from the kitchen. The food itself was ok - the fondue good, but Mediterranean salad... More

Loved the quiche, pastries and coffee with a fun environment, we were referred by a local Deli around the corner I think it was called the spoon, next door to The Silverbow, which used to be the local bagel shop turned hotel! We did not have lunch or dinner here but if anything like their breakfast worth a try!

If you want to try a casual restaurant popular with the locals. This is the place. They serve great fried chicken, ramen noodle dishes with seafood and various generous portion of seafood entrees Simple decor with ok service. Could use more smiles from the staff. Hit of the dinner was their bread pudding. Best news is the entrees are in... More

I recently stopped in at the Rookery Cafe in Juneau while on a cruise. It was a lovely little oasis that served a delicious mocha and tasty cranberry oatmeal cookie. The staff were friendly and hospitable.

We had dinner here one night in late July, on the recommendation of our hotel's front desk.. During the day The Rookery looks like an ordinary coffee shop, but at night it turns into a very upscale restaurant, so far as the food goes - the decor is fine for a coffee shop but doesn't quite measure up to the... Centrally located from the water. Went for lunch and had the soup sandwich combo. Quality ingredients with a quality chef cooking. Excellent coffee and chocolate chip cookie (and I am a bit snobby about these two)

We enjoyed so many great meals here including brunch, lunch and dinner. The menu is both creative and comforting and executed so well by the team. I wish I could stay longer to enjoy more meals. Must try: strawberry almond pastry, ramen, Cobb salad, chocolate chip cookies and anything with the SALMON sausage on it!
