My husband and son were pleased with the halibut curry. I had the cheese fondue. Very, very rich! Unfortunately, they had both front and back doors open. It was a wind tunnel, and it was COLD. Greatly diminished the experience.

Went for lunch with a coworker last week. It wasn't very busy that day and not sure why based on the food and service we got. Both had burgers and they were very good. I had the side of mac & cheese and enjoyed that change from fries, though I tried the other persons fries and they were also good.... More

This friendly cafe offers tasty coffees and fresh pastry. Why go to Starbucks when you can get a great local cup and snack? Handmade artisan goods as well, and when you stop for a snack here you will be sitting among Juneau residents. Fascinating spot to refresh and people watch.

This is a casual cafe but it serves dinner as well as casual stuff. The salmon we had was excellent. Good wine selection. Fairly pricey (like most places in Alaska.)

I did not have time to eat at this place, so I dashed in and purchased 3 cookies for me and my family. The oatmeal were the best I have ever eaten...then there were awesome snickerdoodles and wonderful chocolate chip! Next visit, I plan to have lunch or dinner, that is for sure.

The Rookery is a local hang out that serves sandwiches, burgers, soups, and salads as well as an assortment of baked goods. It is a casual little cafe with changing art on the walls. It offers a selection of teas and coffee as well.

Walking around one evening, exploring my temporary home, and looking for someplace to eat. Came across the Rookery and saw that it was full - always a good sign for a restaurant. No tables available (not too big), but there was a stool at the bar - good enough for a quick bite! The servers were very friendly and attentive.... More

We came here as it was highly rated on trip advisor, but i just didnt get it. The place is nice, averafe, nothing fancy, decorared with paintings from local artists probably. The menu was very limited and i didnt find a lot of the stuff i saw on pictures, so that was a bit disapointing. You order at the register,... More
