The best halibut fish and chips ever!! My husband had the baked halibut and the sauce was divine. We had a table that overlooked the Bay and the mountains, so the view was top notch! Service was efficient and friendly. We had chocolate layer cake with a raspberry drizzle that was very tasty!! Pricey, but worth it.

It is definitely a good place to eat, but they are pricier than the quality of the food or service. The fish was a bit overcooked and dry - it had great flavor but I felt the waitress left it under the heating lights too long as she was running from table to table.

I enjoyed an exceptionally wonderful meal at Captain Paddies. In fact it was the best meal on my recent eight-day Alaskan trip. Although pricey, it seemed worth it. It started with a delightful cup of the Captain's clam chowder soup. Then, I had halibut cheeks and prawns served in a scampi-type buttery sauce, accompanied by broccoli and bread. For an... More

We made reservations for 2pm and were glad we did, as we got seated with a spectacular view of Kachemak Bay through the big windows of the dining room. Wonderful, friendly service and SERIOUSLY GOOD SEAFOOD. Highly recommend!

Tired after a full day of fishing, we went to Captain Pattys for dinner. Our salads were delicious.. I had Pattys Baked Halibut..so moist in a cream dill sauce. My husband had grilled salmon which was equally delicious.. Don't miss their homemade carrot cake for dessert! Would definitely recommend this place!!

Couldn't begin to tell you what time we went to dinner-it always looks like an overcast 6:30 pm in Homer- but this place was packed. Smelled delicious and had a good wine bar. All good things on vacation. Often, I like to order the special. And my friend and I weren't disappointed. It was a shrimp and scallop grilled kabob,... More

This was the restaurant recommended by the reception at our hotel as having the best seafood. Somehow in Alaska most restaurants over-do the fish to the point of really drying it out. Captain Patties was no exception. If you decide to visit, ask for somewhat under-done fish. Maybe that will work.

This is the second time we have visited Homer and the second time we have eaten at Captain Patties. We brought our son and girlfriend with us after eating here on our last visit. We sat in the sunroom which provided a wonderful view of the bay. We all enjoyed our food very much. The clam chowder was rich and... More

Drove from Ninilchik to have lunch here. Try to eat here every time we get to Homef & have never been disappointed. We are from Virginia so don't get here very often. Clam chowder is also excellent. Will definitely stop here again if we get back!
