Food was just average. Way over priced for the quality. Salmon came out cold\warm. Staff was friendly view was great. But lunch was 100.00 for 3 and not impressive.

We mentioned that it was our anniversary when we made our reservation, but at the height of a busy tourist season we didn't expect special treatment. When we arrived the restaurant was packed but we were taken to the best view table in the house and treated like valued guests. The food was outstanding and the complimentary dessert was unexpected... More

Took my catch (Halibut) to Captain Patties and had it baked up with dill sauce...best I've ever had! What a beautiful view we had! Staff is friendly, great atmosphere and amazing seafood!

I had decided to go to Little Mermaid based on reviews, but it wasn't very appealing from the outside, and then found it was closed for the season! We went to Pmargian Arts and the guy there said Captain Patties is where the locals go once the tourists leave. He was right, too, as we watched many of the patrons... More

I would give 5 stars unless the inconvenience of through-wind on several tables. The staff took care of us, we were moved to another table. Excellent food and service.

It is understandable why there was a wait - I enjoyed a Rockfish dinner that had out of this world flavor. We had reservations and only waited briefly for the table to be cleaned and reset. Others had a combo plate which was well seasoned and moist. Enjoyed a glass of wine also. They will close for the season in... More

We visited Homer on a rainy, windy day and soon found out a cruise ship had been cancel due to the weather (yay for us!). Decided to try Captain Patties on the recommendation of a local. It was not crowded and we had a window seat. I had the fried oyster sandwich with slaw and my husband had the all-you-can... More

We were in Homer one night and wanted some great seafood. C P was recommended and right across the street. It was all you could eat shrimp. Two of us got that for $28. It took some time for the food to come so we told the waitress put in the order for more shrimp. On two occasions I politely... More

Started with the clam chowder which was excellent. My wife & I ordered the baked halibut. Looked great when served but soon found out that neither hers or mine was not very warm. Started to eat some of the thinner cut of the filet which seemed ok but again not very warm....not even lukewarm. Got to the thicker part of... More

Very disappointed to spend that much for crab that was not Alaskan King Crab! Clam chowder would have been good if it had clams, but it had more potatoes than anything else. We waited a really long time for our food even though we only ordered crap and chowder and our friends only had smoked salmon appetizer. Good time with... More
