We did like the burgers, which were served up quickly. Friendly people, decent fries, kind of interesting because it's in the boatyard, but not much as far as atmosphere. Very small, no bathroom and not handicap accessible.

It's a good thing we didn't read these reviews before going to eat. Actually, I couldn't find a place in Homer that interested me, so I waited until I arrived and asked the locals. It was a bit hard to find and we drove by it the first time. If you're looking for fine dining and a romantic atmosphere, then... More

Love the boatyyard Cafe. Food is always good. Just wish this little joint had a restroom. Hate having to use the "Boatyard" general bathroom which is always filthy.

A little hard to find buy well worth it. Food is great and the portions are always worth the price. The menu is your basic, burger, burritos, etc.with a few other items to include fish. Kinda a cool place to go.

This review may not matter because I had a cold the day I went to eat here. Service was pleasant and had character, timely and portion size was generous. The crinkle fries were average. Had a cheeseburger and it was fairly good minus the dehydrated and overly crunchy shredded lettuce. I could give it the benefit of the doubt as... More

Quick, filling and friendly. It's clearly meant mainly for busy fisherman and welders that work at the boatyard. It's pretty casual. Food is good and the staff is friendly. Not really a "sit-down" place. Good if you don't have a lot of time! Not really a tourist place, but those are the most fun anyway.

The Boatyard Cafe is a hidden gem that's frequented by local Homerites, and this place offers very yummy food served in generous portions ... One of my favorites spots for lunch :) The setting is simple and clean, the staff are really friendly & polite, and your order is quickly prepared/served as well. The menu features an array of tasty... More

It is out of the way, unpretentious and is exactly what it says. A little cafe in the middle of a boatyard. I happen to love unpretentious and am a big fan of boats and the people who own them. Food is basic but good.
