Along with great service from a friendly staff we had the most OUTSTANDING TENDER DELICIOUS CALAMARI we've ever tasted. My wife had the fish tacos which she is still raving about three days later. What a great place to eat and enjoy Alaskan hospitality.

The food was decent and service pretty good for what appeared to be a staff short on help. That is nothing unusual for Alaska though. This was our first time dining at the Harbor Grill so we really did not know what to expect. The only let down about our experience was how small the portions were for out meal... More

Beautiful views overlooking the marina. The menu is quite extensive and seems a bit expensive; however, we found that ordering 3 appetizers and dessert was more within our budget. We had the shrimp cocktail, steamed clams, and seafood chowder. The shrimp were extra large prawns and were quite tasty but not quite as sweet and tasty as we've experienced with... More

We had lunch here last Monday following our bird watching tour in Kachemack Bay. There were six of us so we had a round table right by the window. Given that the weather was cloudless with a brilliant blue sky, we enjoyed the beautiful views of the harbor. I ordered the fish tacos with a salsa that had a touch... More

Very nice place with nice views. Comparing the fish & chips to three other places, they beat two other popular places hands down. Their halibut and black cod are fresh and delicious. The fries are good and the tea was fresh. Good service.

We found this place to have adequate food, for prices that are too high compared to the quality at other local places. They seem to be cutting some corners on quality. We had a calamari appetizer that was NOT very good, with pieces that were way too thick and not cooked particularly well. We also had menus with price increases... More

We choose this restaurant just because the other two we got recommended were booked out. The food is expensive which would be ok if that food would taste good. One pound King crab legs $65 ( was one crab leg). Other dishes was just ,,ok" but there are really much better restaurants in Homer then this one. Personal was nice.

From Anchorage drove 5 hours with family to spend two nights in Homer. Waiter was nice. $31 a plate for most seafood dishes. Literally they brought our $31 fried halibut dish out (I split it with my mom) with our salad and places it on the table. By the time we ate the salad and the others got their food... More

The only way we made this dining experience acceptable was to play a game and act like the food was the best we ever had because several at the table were ready to walk out on the tab it was so horrid. We spoke with several locals while in Homer and realize that they prey on the tourist. I would... More
