After a distritos first meal where we ended up paying $250 for plate of king crab, it was relief to find this spot. It felt warm Nd welcoming, and was near our rv resort. We did wait an insane amount of
Time for our meals,...while seated at the bar- but we were able to entertain ourselves until our meals came out. I especially loved the live Pima music. When I walked in (on a whim), I felt I was in a 1880s saloon. The bartender was super friendly, though overwhelmed- but that seems to be the status quo everywhere on earth right now.More
When researching Homer, I hoped to eat at this restaurant based on reviews. We were not disappointed. The ambiance was pure Alaska - the food was amazing. Staff were attentive and service in general was timely. It was an experience, not just a meal. We...highly recommend.More
Our group enjoyed the options to have steaks and fabulous king crab legs. The service was a major issue because it was one hour from the time we placed our order until the time when dinner was served. Pack your patience.
Because we were a group of six, we felt like it was wise to have a reservation and this was our best choice. There was entertainment in the back dining room which was very crowded. The food was fine and it was a true “ steak house”.More
We went to AJ's two nights in a row. We found this restaurant checking reviews and it gets good ones. The first night, the four of us agreed that the food was fantastic and we came back the second night. Same experience....great food and great...service. Reservations a MUST. They are busy.More
A wonderful first night intro to Homer and the Alaskan feeling. Hobo Jim and his songs were exceptional and so heartfelt. Our 13 yr old grandson loved the show. We shared a steak and everyone enjoyed their meal. Perfect perfect eve.
