Good place, very busy so I was glad to have made a reservation. Food is expensive but the portions are large. Vegetarians! This is a good option if your family wants seafood

Had dinner at this place during our visit to the Homer Spit. The restaurant's outlook is not very inviting. But, the food and service were very good. Would highly recommend Halibut Fish and Chips and Fish Curry.

Had an excellent dinner with fresh fish, which we had been looking all over for. Well prepared and excellent service.

Had an amazing dinner of oysters and halibut, service was excellent and everyone very friendly. Make a reservation though, otherwise they have a few seats at the bar for open seating if you can get one.

Family had reservations, they called us early. While we got an appetizer in about 20min our food didn't come till we decided to leave after nearly an hour and a half. We got tied and got it to go. Food was good but not worth...price. My family's opinion is it was to expensive, poor service, no kids selection. It is a "no-go for us.More

Delicious dinner. If you sit in the back room you have great water views. The Alaskan crab and shrimp fondue appetizer was excellent, as were the Rockfish and Udon salmon bowl entrees. The haddock fish and chips was a little too breaded and a bit...over-fried. The steak fries that came with it were not great either.More

We recently had a delicious dinner at Fresh Catch. The restaurant was recommended to us by our tour guide, and it was a great suggestion! The bright decor with interesting artwork and views of the water combined with the eclectic menu made for a wonderful...experience. The food was delicious (I had the salmon udon bowl), too! Highly recommend!More

Perfect spot, right on the spit. Excellent menu, great wine selection, service with a personality and smile. Best meal we had in Alaska.

We arrived in Homer this afternoon and were able to make an early reservation at Fresh Catch. We were greeted warmly, seated quickly at a table reserved for us, and served with gracious efficiency. We ordered the nightly special and it was delicious! We highly...recommend this restaurant if you want an interesting and well prepared dinner.More

Probably wouldn't go back. We found the food compared to the quality wasn't quite there. It's very expensive and the food wasn't worth the price in our opinion. Pros: cute, cozy, great vibe, seafood dip appetizer is delicious- bread was kind of basic. Desert was...very good - rhubarb crisp. Cons: Curry dish didn't have a lot of flavor. Miso salmon udon was so salty I couldn't even eat the beautiful salmon. The sauce was good but it was just way too over salted to enjoy. Maybe we didn't pick the good dishes? For the price we found better food at other restaurants nearby (Broken Oar, AJ's). Would go back for appetizers and dessert:)More

After a day with the bears, we showed up, hungry and at the end of the lunch shift. We were welcomed in and proceeded to have the best meal of our trip. The salmon udon bowl was a welcomed surprise...full of flavor with plenty left...for a to go box. Our waitress was lovely, the beers were good and the dining room was cozy and charming. The local recommendations for this place were spot on!More

Got us in quick on a busy night. Menu a little limited but food very good. Carrot cake for desert was amazing. Fairly good draft beer choices. Small place but good atmosphere.

We made reservations for 1845 hrs and it was not honored. It really simple as that. They don't honor their reservations, so we didn't eat here. They claims that diners were hanging around and all that but reservation should be honor or they shouldn't make...accept them. If this sound like some crappy airlines stuff....it pretty much the same thing. You make reservation and the flight get cancel. You make reservations and dinner get cancel.More

Had a very nice family meal at Fresh Catch. The menu is small so one of the boys was a bit worried. He went out on a limb and ordered the duck pho with prawns. Had never had either and liked it! We also had...the halibut and chips, the bison burger, ribeye and salmon bowl (also an Asian dish) and the portions were so large I don’t think anyone finished their entree. Force me to get my carrot cake to go! Our server Amaya was professional and sweet. She did a great job and kept our (very good!) iced teas filled up. Captain Patties was recommended also but we selected this place because we could call in a reservation. Also pricey but what isn’t these days? Great choice!More
