We stopped here by accident while driving through Historic Homer. Had lunch at Captain Patties and dessert here. Cool place. Had the turtle bar, chocolate chip cookie & coffee. Will definitely stop here again when in Alaska.

I had high hopes. We arrived just after 7 and it was busy, smelled amazing and seemed like the kind of place you wished you had at home. Had a bagel, cinammon roll, savoury Danish, brownie and a streusel bar. I noticed (after I left) that I had a poppy bagel, not the sesame I asked for. The food was... More

Homemade breads, bakery items, hot drinks....it also looks like they served breakfast and lunch. They were crowded. I think it must be a popular spot with locals.

We thought that the bakery was a little pricey for basic products but they were of very good quality and of a very good portion size. Great atmosphere and lots of locals were in and out picking up goodies

Pleasant place - looked like a converted house. Nothing fancy except the food and the prices. Limited menu, with flowery descriptions of the available dishes. Food looked beautiful on the plate, but was not quite as tasty as it looked. Seafood Pasta had two medium scallops, 12-14 mussels in the shell, and one small piece of salmon. Lots of noodles... We looked for this place because it had been recommended by a native and almost gave up. Went back next morning and finally got to have breakfast here. The building is quaint, eclectic décor and an outdoor area with play area for kids. We sat inside on an enclosed porch where they bring the food you order at the counter.... More

Stopped there a couple of times, liked it. It's off the beaten path, so it's not the easiest place to find but this area of Homer is not large, that plus there is a parking area, although I think the locals don't like it when you go in the out... Simple menu, fresh bakery goods, nice sandwiches and soups, I... More

We were surprised at the quality and unique menu offerings at several of Homer's restaurants. We had dinner here as well as Fat Olive and Mermaid on the spit. My wife's salad was outstanding, decent wine offerings, and service. My rock fish dinner was very tasty but had to be sent back as it came out just warm. Upon return,... More
