Wow, Maura's was a total treat. This restaurant is my favorite place to brunch, The menu is full of wonderful choices. Salmon lox is always my go-to. The hosts made wonderful recommendations for choices of cheeses to take home as well. The old town location is my favorite part of Homer as well. It is very close to the beach.... More

Tiny cafe with outside space and two small dining rooms. Ingredients were local and fresh and combined in a very tasty and beautifully served manner. We ate a full breakfast and a lunch there. Would go back in a hearbeat!

Breakfast/lunch, doesn't make much difference. The balsamic reduction was to die for, and I just tried to do it and couldn't even touch it. Food was excellent, brie was done like nothing I have ever had, roasted tomatoes, yum, omelets to die for. Salads, omg, fresh lettuces with balsamic..outstanding. I am sorry we couldn't stay longer to enjoy more food.... More

Our family stopped here for lunch and it was awesome!! The tomato bisque was great, along with the sandwiches and salads! Everything was VERY fresh! Our 8/9 year old kids loved it also! Definitely stop for lunch here!

I loved this place but my family was less excited so only giving it four stars. Basically the problem for my kids, 11 and 13, was that all the sandwiches were deliciously amazing specialty choices and there wasn't a plain ham and cheese-type offering. They also offer salads and quiche. There is a daily soup. DH is gluten intolerant so... More

Be sure to order the tomato soup. Lots of terrific sandwiches and desserts. Nice cozy "French" atmosphere. Self-serve. Pricey.

Wish we would have had more time in Homer to go back to Maura's for more. My chef husband stated that the french omelette was the best, most perfect one he had it years! I am GF and had the scotch oats with fresh berries, organic maple syrup, almonds and cream...it was heavenly. Bravo!

A funky cafe serving delicious food - the best we've had in Alaska so far. Great range of food for lunch and breakfast. My favorite is the crepes. I came back for more on our second day in Homer.
