Loved the food; but service was pretty poor. I ordered the Alaska King Crab legs as a side to my entree. You would think that the restaurant and waiter would want the $75 (!!) Nope... it never showed up at the table or on the...More

The views are nice. But for the price, the food was very very average. The crab cake was good, but the steak was tough and seafood decidedly bland and uninspired. Service is fine. Beware, it is hot and stuffy. No air conditioning. We sweated our...More

We showed up without reservations and were able to get seated at the bar for dinner. There was a clear delineation in prioritizing seating for guests of the resort vs day visitors. While we had great service at the bar, we observed that many tables...More

We went to celebrate my wife’s birthday with the family during our visit to Alaska. We were highly impressed. My youngest daughter, who is a bit of a foodie, literally had tears of joy from the peach tart. We all had the scallop bisque and...More

Three stars for the food. Fish was fantastic, pork chop juicy and delicious. We did have to ask for bread which should have come to us in the beginning. Service..... eh. Sat in the bar area, at a table for dinner. Was extremely warm due...More

Susan, Thank you for sharing your experience. From your review it is apparent that we missed several opportunities to provide you with a great experience, and our (much) hotter than usual temperatures did not make things any more pleasant. I hope that you will join...More

It was uncomfortable hot in there. Couldnt even enjoy our meal. For 2 we pd $150! We had the halibut which was the cheapest thing on the entrees meal. Granted it was delicious. The view was not good due to all of the smoke from...More

I am sorry to read that your experience was not all that you had hoped it would be. This unusual heat streak has given us some warmer than typical temperatures, even at 2300ft where it is usually much cooler. We hope that you come back...More

Went there for a meeting with clients and we had a great time. The cable car up the mountain from the Hotel Alyeska rivaled the view of any place in the lower 48. Reminded me of Switzerland. Appetizer of salmon was excellent and then had...More

Exceptional experience. You ride a tram up to the restaurant. We didn’t see any bears, but according to the tram operator, he sees them daily. Reservations for the restaurant are a must, and your ride is free when you give your name at the tram...More

We went up here for dinner on our honeymoon while staying at the Alyeska hotel. It was pricey (compared to our usually cheap travel budgets) but was worth it - from the service to the food to the beautiful views, an overall great experience!

This restaurant is known for its views and they capitalize on that and the food doesn’t compare. Save the money and enjoy the views from elsewhere on top of the mountain. Our server was curt and lacked communication skills and seemed annoyed the whole evening....More
