My wife and I recently traveled to Alaska for our honeymoon and as we researched places to see, stay and eat, Seven Glaciers Restaurant was a must. Dining in Alaska turns out to be rather unimpressive as there are few nice restaurants, so we thought this might be an exception. We chose Seven Glaciers for our first night out and... More

The views on the Tram ride to this restaurant are nothing short of "great". The restaurant displays Triple A 4 Diamond Award rating plagues, but I don't know how they deserved to acquire them. The service at the entry desk was slow and apathetic. The young waiter had a great attitude and did his best to make the experience better,... More

Fabulous dinner with a fabulous view and excellent service! Three of us had filets which were delicious and one had the halibut and thought the same. The sommelier suggested a wonderful wine and overall our meal was excellent! Quite the dining experience with a cable car tram ride up the mountain for starters. Highly recommend!

Thanks to reading reviews and asking folks in town, we knew to go to the Alyeska Resort and take the tram to the top of the ridge to the Seven Glaciers restaurant. At the top, there is a museum, bar, deli, and the Seven Glaciers. We made reservations in advance, picked up our complimentary tram tickets outside, and rode up... More

Very high prices for below average food. Service-attitude at the front desk and slow, apathetic table service - won't be back

#1 You won't be comped the tram ride unless you have an advance reservation, even if you spend just as much eating in the bar #2 Asking if there was room without a reservation seemed to be a bother for them #3 You have to ask to get bread and it is ordinary, crackers are dry and bland #4 The... First, a ride up the mountain in a comfy tram. Next amazing, delicious food. Colors should be great this time of year. Seasonal, so check before you head out.

Four of us ate here and really had a nice time and the food was terriific. Make a reservation on OpenTable to save $20 per person for the gondola ride up. We had 6 glasses of wine, two appetizers and four entrees and the total tab before tip was $300.

This is a beautiful restaurant with stunning views and the food is pretty great as well. Overall level of service, the plating and care in crafting the menu was awesome. My only complaint was my king crab legs were just slightly overcooked, so most of it was good but some parts were a little rubbery, I should have said something... More

Good food & VIEW, not far from Anchorage, the road that has a nice view of Turnagain Arm & all of the mountains along the way.
