Great waterfront restaurant with an amazing setting, great crowd and a long pier for easy boat access. Very French and very good! Good wine selection and entrees are limited but excellent. The shrimp dish was excellent, the fish with lobster sauce was very rich. The...burger can be made vegetarian style and was delicious. Great party scene on the pier.More

We ate there 3 times. Beautiful ambience with delicious food . They are very accommodating and friendly. You can eat on the beach or in the water. All eight of us loved our food and drinks. There is also a little boutique in the back...well worth the visit . Highly recommend it.More

Great food - duck breast with pineapple chutney and grapefruit sauce on the side. Small but solid wine list. Be sure to leave room for desserts (and to share). Great location on the water. Most tables are in the sand, some are in the water....Really fun decor, especially after dark. We definitely left with smiles on our faces. During our sailing charter we will probably anchor off and dinghy in to eat here again.More

Located on one of the only beaches in Raiatea (private), the Fish and Blue aims at being a very upper class restaurant. The place is very pretty, great lagoon views, and the atmosphere at night is superb. The food is good, well presented and tasty....Decent wine list, and friendly service. Prices are a bit stiff and we didn't appreciate to be (almost) kicked out last time we went there (7pax, pre-dinner drinks, 3 bottles of relatively expensive wine) at about 10:30pm, although we hadn't finished our glasses... The bill was shoved under our nose, the staff left and we had no choice but to pay and go. This should not be happening in an establishment that aims to be at a high standard (we were not drunk, nor rowdy or noisy).More

We anchored in a shelf of sand directly across the lagoon from Fish and Blue and took the dinghy over. The location is idyllic. We had a drink in beach chairs in the sand, toes in the water, then moved to a table for dinner....Excellent food, best we had in French Polynesia. The plates are LARGE however, so only one per person, and consider sharing. They were kind enough to inform me that one plate I ordered was for two, so I ordered a different plate. Well, that plate for one was HUGE. Very romantic location for our last night in French Polynesia. We will remember this dinner fondly for the rest of our lives.More

We had a private dinner for 40ish people on a Friday. It was amazing. The view, the place, the food... exquisite. Nothing else to add. Just incredible.

This restaurant is exactly what people think of when they imagine vacationing in French Polynesia. It is right on the beach, where you can watch the magnificent sunset. The cocktails are creative. The decor is soothing and tropical--blues and teal with shells. The chef prepared...a wonderful green papaya salad. All of us had fresh fish, mahi-mahi or Meka (swordfish, we think). Our waitress was a beautiful young woman with long dark hair and a floral sarong. She was very helpful in taking photos of our group and making sure that we had a nice time. We were given plenty of time to linger in the pleasant atmosphere after dinner. It was a lovely evening.More

We were a group of 9 and were recommended this restaurant by the receptionist at our accommodation. So glad we took up her recommendation, this would have to be one of our favorite restaurants in the world! The setting is stunning facing west to take...full advantage of the sunsets. Right on the waters edge you can choose a table on the sand or have your toes dipping in the water. Beautifully decorated and layed out. But not only is the ambience outstanding but the food far exceeded our expectations! We all had the best meals and cocktails of our 14 day trip through French Polynesia. Equivalent and even better in taste and presentation than any good restaurant we have visited worldwide. Definitely recommend the mohitoMore

We passed here and saw a carpark so called in. We had no booking and am I glad they found room for us. The chefs know how to treat Tuna. Sashimi, cru or cooked it was the best. The staff, setting and food made for...an unforgettable dining experience. We will be back.More

What a superbly decorated beachfront toe-in-water restaurant. But not only decoration, obviously cuisine is a passion! Cooks and service staff are all smiles! My top spot on Raiatea
