Best food we ate in all of Moorea, reasonable prices, and a local setting. A must go. Make a res if you can. Eat as much as possible.

We enjoyed our lunch here at the Snack Mahana. We both ordered the Mahi Mahi with rice and pleased with our order. We enjoyed the flavor of our food and we were pleased with service. Similar to our other review, it was a little slow due to the lunch rush but overall good.

We had several snacks and meals here the three days we were on Moorea. The burgers are strange in these islands though, I didn't like the taste of the beef. And a fried egg on almost everything explains some waist lines in the islands. The pastries and cakes were delicious. The beer was cold and fine tasting on a hot... More

Went there twice for lunch. It was easy to see why they are crowded and why a reservation is almost essential to be seated. Seafood was fresh and perfectly cooked. Prices were cheap by FP standards. Service was very friendly and attentive. Great lagoon views as well. If sitting at a table on the lagoon, you can throw some breadin... More

We went here for lunch one day that we had rented a buggy for the day. They have a small menu but every thing is cooked so simple with seasonings that it was so delicious. It was my favorite Mahi Mahi dish I had all week. My husband had shrimp and they were large. This is a must do on... More

Some very fresh and delicious dishes, from shrimps to Mai Mai, everything is delicious. The setting is quaint in a garden, by the lagoon. The freshly squeezed pineapple juices (rare nowadays with the lack of pineapple available to the public on Moorea) are to die for.

Family style snack, real Polynesian. Best when the sun shines. The restaurant is in the garden, right on the waterfront.

One of the locals told us about this place and we were so glad they did. After dining in a lot of the restaurants, many of them expensive, we found Snack Mahana to be the best and reasonable. The food was as amazing as the ocean front landscape. And... we loved hanging out with Pluto, the beautiful 3 legged dog... More

This is one of the best places to grab lunch end experience the "local" cooking. The grilled mahi mahi with coconut is awesome. Great spot to eat by the water. Very close to the main part of the town. if you get a chance, I highly recommend stopping here for lunch.
