This restaurant is permanently closed. They have sold everything in the restaurant and the grounds. They has a 25 year lease and the owner of the property chose not to renew.

We had a meat platter that was really good, the chocolate mousse dessert was also delicious and the cocktails. Everything was awesome, service included!! Take note that being that high it can get chilly so always go with a sweater, just in case.

Nice dinner for three adults, our first evening in San Jose. View of the city is beautiful and great for a perspective of San Jose. Regret we didn’t go up there to watch the sunset as a few couples did. Staff was nice. Food was...fine but over-priced for the quality. Perhaps it was the early side but very little buzz or ambience in being there.More

Great Restaurant. Wonderful views at night. Great food and very good service. Interesting menu. I’ll re visit this restaurant on my future trips to San Jose Costa Rica.

Terrible food, dated menu, lovely view but when your entire family describes their food as disgusting - you have an issue. We live next door haven’t been in 4 years and won’t be back again. Honestly wanted to have a delicious family dinner - we...all left our food it was that bad! Tinned tomatoes on the Diablo - strawberry sweet sauce served as a dressing for the salmon which also came with fried bacon and fried tortillas - pear salad had pickled tinned tasing pears which were inedible - my sons fettuccine with Prawns was 25k col and was drenched in cheap non butter sauce - prawns were tasteless old and farmed - bread served with fake butter - all experienced in the not quite stable plastic and metal green house by the waiters in their ridiculous monk outfits. Go here with people who hate good food and love to drive up the hill and get totally raped when the bill comes. Seriously chef take a long look and what the hell this could be - you are so so so far away right now and I’m horrified you even appear any where near the top of tripadvisor. You are a disgrace to fresh good food, so very far from beating anything related to good French cuisine, good cooking and any sense of passion for delivering an amazing experience. Worst restaurant I have been to in a long time, and it’s 5 mins from my house - so very very disappointing. So easy to to so much better. Won’t be recommending your restaurant and certainly will not be back any time soon.More

This Restaurant is probably at the highest point in San Jose and to reach it we have to go through winding narrow unpaved roads with glimpses of the City lights along the way. There is a small parking area for cars and a flight of...steps to go down. The whole place was quite dark and the tables were stretched out in front of a small low wall and it was as if we were sitting right in front of the beautifully lighted city down below. The lighting was by small candles? we could hardly see the menu and none of the waiters knew any English!. The food was average but we truly enjoyed the once in a lifetime views because of the height. Anyway we did not go for the food but for the viewsMore

The main attraction of this restaurant is the view. We went for dinner and the view is spectacular. I would recommend going earlier before sunset to enjoy the day and night views. The food is good and great service but quite expensive. We enjoyed the...carpaccio appetizer and trio of salmon. For main course the chicken with gorgonzola sauce was great as well as the duck and beef mains. There is a bar downstairs that could be fun for a big group.More

My wife took me here on my birthday and we had a great time. The food was great and our waiter was a lot of fun. The view was spectacular. It was a birthday that I'll remember fondly.

Have lived in CR for 20 years now. When I first got here , I tried this place. Amazing location, with spectacular views. However other than that that it was disappointing. Service was indifferent and the food average. Would go back every couple of years...in hopes that it had gotten better, which I didn't. Went again last night after about 5 years, and Hallelujah!!!!! Service was much warmer and more attentive. Marco did a wonderful job. And the food was great. I assuming they have changed chefs. Finally the restaurant lives up to the location. Just a great experience. So many items on the menu I want to try and a nice wine list as well. It has become a VERY special place.More
