I stayed in a nearby hotel and having read fantastic reviews about this restaurant, I anticipated to have similar experience. The decor was absolutely amazing in an antiquated fashion and nice Argentinian atmosphere. The staff was welcoming. Even though I speak very good Spanish, it was evident I wasn't a local or from the country. I ordered a nice bottle... More

Having read the reviews I was looking forward to a nice steak. However, our ribeye steaks weren't good. I was looking forward to a melt in the mouth steak, but got a chewy one. The ambiance was fine as were the waiters, it was just let down by the food!

Went there with a large group. The restaurant was cozy and the wait staff was attentive. Everyone in our party seemed to enjoy the food. I had the ribeye with Chimichurri sauce. It was amazing! The steak was tender and full of flavor. It came with grilled vegetables and potato salad which were delicious as well.

This restaurant was a little hard to find, but once we found it we were glad we did. It was beautifully decorated with tons of Argentina-esque decor. Our service was great, the food was moderately priced for a nice restaurant, and the food was FABULOUS. Our waiter was incredibly friendly and spoke English/Spanish both. I highly recommend this place and... More

Why isn't this little restaurant number one on trip advisor? The staff are are friendly and try really hard with their English. We had the traditional cheese melt with pesto and a ribeye steak each. Cooked on the charcoal grill it had crunchy little burnt bits and med rare inside. What I like to call cherry ripe. Salty with a... More

We enjoyed the authentic Argentinean beef - tender, juicy and beef-y. My husband and I both ordered tenderloins. The appetizer - Provoleta - Fried provolone cheese was excellent! Gooey, cheesy and unique. Highly recommended. With (1) beer and (1) wine, our total bill with tip was 33,000 colons (~US$66).

The home made ravioli with tomato cream sauce was outstanding. The NY steak was tough in places, though typical for Costa Rica cuts of beef. Friendly service with better English than our Spanish. Neat little corner restaurant just a block from the Parque del Lago hotel.

Came here for dinner while on vacation in Costa Rica. Wonderful atmosphere, friendly service, and, most importantly, delicious food and drink. Their Chimichurri was fantastic!
