We went for a dim sum lunch based on the reviews. Everything was freshly made which we appreciated. However, the food was nothing to write home about. Especially avoid the turnip cakes which were burnt. The service was inconsistent as the staff were eating their meal and we waited a long time for what was the burnt turnip cakes.

Thank you for your review. It is important for us. As you said everything is freshly made, that's while the food need time to be prepared and cook. Our menu says"Hong KONG style" in order to advice our customers that they shall wait longer for the food to come out. Maybe our waiter didn't explain it clearly. We will put more... More

We have been to this restaurant many times, usually for their Dim Sum menu on the weekends, which has a nice variety of cantonese small dishes, incluiding great char siu pork buns. On this occassion we went to celebrate Chinese New Year. We had and excellent celebration, with great food and family-style service. We sat at their traditional round tables... More

Very nice place. Great treatment. Easy to access, we walked from the Hotel. Food was excellent. Had the Peking Duck and a pork dish. Both were very tasty. Appetizer was great also. Good portions and short wait. Pork dish had an amazing sauce and taste. Duck was a bit more expensive but worth it since it was the restaurant specialty.... More

I traveled to San Jose last week, was visiting Chinatown, we found the people are all nice and the place is safe. Then we had dinner in Don Wang which recommended by friend, we had tasted the great Chinese food there, had a lot of drink, had a lot of fun there. Service is good, the owner is so friendly.... We chose this restaurant to try Chinese food. I have to say I am NOT coming back, never! The prices is SUPER high compared to what they serve. The service is terrible and the food did not taste good. We waited 20 mins for the entrance, and the drinks were hot... this is one of these places you say you... More

We visited here because Tin Jo next door was closed and I'm glad we did. We selected the Family selection for Two and was rewarded with 5-6 dishes. 1-Pickled vegetables 2-Crispy noodles 3-Egg noodle soup 4-Main dish that arrived on one platter around a centerpiece of salad that included: Beef in black bean sauce Shrimp in a sauce, and Chicken... This is one of the places we always hit when in SJO and once again, it was delicious. The Dim Sum has a great variety and the flavor is always spot on! Would go again and recommend to friends and family!

From the food to the drinks, everything was really good. We ordered Giosas, Dumplings, shrimp fried rice, spring rolls, lobster tales, chicken teriyaki, and more. I have no complaints. The waitress Xenia was very attentive and kind. My dad wanted something a little different from what was on the menu and they had no problem preparing it for us.

I was visiting from San Francisco and was recommended to this restaurant from a local. Excellent service, food and drinks. I recommend the water crest soup, piña coladas and locally sourced beef steak. The Coconut and pineapple juice was fresh squeezed and very tasty. I will definitely come back when I'm back in Costa Rica.
