This was our 2nd time eating here in one week, and it was just as good as the first. From the moment our hostess introduced herself and asked our name, their service was exceptional. We were lucky enough to have Paloma as our server again...this time, and she was warm, knowledgeable, and served us impeccably. Her dinner suggestions tonight were spot on. Both times, we had the quinoa salad appetizer, and my husband added the octopus salad (see photos below). Paloma’s suggestion for me, as a gluten-free eater, of sea bass, in a seafood broth with veggies, and wrapped in banana leaves, was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. We’ll be back in Costa Rica next month and will definitely eat here again.More

We eat here often as it is very near my office. On weekends I may come with my kids but during the week it is a great place for a business lunch or dinner with friends. And lately we order in a lot to our...office. Truly authentic peruvian food, a very special place. Everything is always fresh and quite delicious. The drinks are also a treat and make sure to leave room for dessert.More

The quality of the food at this restaurant is unreal. We had our doubts about this place at the beginning since the reservation process wasnt very smooth. I contacted them via their website to make a reservation, I got no response. Few days later, I...tried their facebook page to make a reservation, got a message back saying that my reservation was confirmed. When we showed up, our reservation wasnt in their system. Once I showed them the confirmation message, they found us a table. Then there was a very long introduction to the restaurant and menu items. They have a huge selection and we couldnt decide so we ordered the sampling dinner, where you get 6 small servings of their most popular items and a desert. With the first serving, our doubts about this place was erased. What a quality, what a creative combination of local ingredients. A true fusion of two different cuisines in the best possible way. The Ceviche variations were great. Both the classical version and the vegetarian version with palm hearts. The risotto, the ravioli in pumpkin sauce, the octopus, all wonderful. The desert was wonderful as well. Definitely try the Tropical brûlée. Be ready to consume 3000 calories and pay some $$ but it is worth it.More

Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. The waiters were super friendly and respectful , and helped me with a reservation. The food was splendid, and they even put an ingredient I asked for in one of the dishes that didn’t have it. The place itself was...super cozy and nice. Excellent experience.More

Located in one of trendiest spots in San José/ Escazú, La adivina Cocina has quickly become one of my favorite Peruvian fusion food restaurants outside Lima. We made reservations (recommended) and asked for a patio seating as weather allowed it. You have to consider how...much it rains in the area. We asked for several plates to be shared, and tasted the grilled octopus, ceviches, sachimis / titraditos, and a great dish of raw tuna over a bed of avocado and rice. All of them were simply spectacular. We had pisco sours for drinks and closed the night with a fabulous Suspiro de Lima. Absolutely go!More

We went for lunch. We want to seat outside but they say it will rain and if it rains you will get wet. Inside is dark I do not like that. For the night is fine you do not realize that but for the day...os better to seat outside. The food was fine.More
