I ordered the typical dish of chicken, rice, beans, and salad. For the price you got quite a bit of food and it was tasty.

Soda Sánchez is a super popular local eatery not far from the bus terminal. I was lucky to get a table right away, but while I was there, customers (mostly young tourists) were steadily filling up the small space, and soon there were lineups at the entrance. The food was tasty and reasonably priced for Quepos. I had the seafood... More

Good small soda serving traditional food, with friendly staff just a couple of minutes walk from the bus station, reasonable prices and good size portions, well worth a visit.

We arrived right before the rush with two kids under 4. The server was amazing! She turned on cartoons, provided highchair, replaced numerous spoons and forks, and cleaned up spilled water graciously. The food was excellent and the portions were huge. My husband had shrimp civic he and I had pescado casados. He definitely wished he had my plate! The... More

Very reasonably priced food (we went for the casado del dia, which is often the cheapest thing to get). Tasty and simple. Service was quick, if not a little sullen.

Randomly stopped here for lunch. I had the ceviche and husband had typical lunch with beef. Both dishes were excellent. Would definitely recommend.

We came here based on the recommendation of our driver and TA. Maybe we ordered the wrong thing, 6 fried red snappers, market value was $22per fish. 5 out of the six were over fried, leathery and almost unedible. Initially they had us sit across from the bathroom, but we asked to moved inside. We had better fish elsewhere. Perhaps... More

I came here for a quick, to-go order of a burrito for my son during the evening. I was stunned to see the cook literally taking every component of the burrito from the meat to the beans out of the fridge and reheating them. She didn't even bother to cook them thoroughly and when I made a comment to my... More
