Beautiful restaurant overlooking Marina…best view of sunset. We Loved this restaurant. The seafood was fresh and served on angel hair pasta. Shrimp and scallops are a must. The filet mignon was cooked to perfection! Definitely try the catch of the day over The lemon garlic...sauce with capers …amazing Prices were very reasonable…a Tito’s dry Martini was less than $10…served in an extra large frosted martini glass. The brownie is amazing…café americano with warm frothed milk…great attention to detail. Staff were all friendly and attentive, especially Amanda, what a wonderful experience.More

I was a bit hesitant to try this place when suggested because I wanted authentic Costa Rican food; however, I am soo happy I gave it a try! Upon entering, I got to meet the lovely Gabriella herself (such a sweet little girl) and the...hosts were equally sweet. Dixon, our sever, was the Best! Very prompt, friendly, and welcoming. Made the experience all the better! Now onto the Food: we started with Wow wow shrimp and the cerviche: amazing! Cerviche was refreshingly great with flavors of octopus, calamari, avocado, mango, and passion fruit. Sooo yummy! Main courses were super well cooked and flavored. Definitely recommend for great service, ambiance, and Food!!More

Took my family crew of 5, which is basically 5 adults. Kids are not of drinking age yet. Had three great apps….MUST ORDER THE SIZZLING OCTOPUS…..killer! Atmosphere was awesome, located in a beautiful harbor with shopping all around, had live music….very festive. Had Mahi, seafood...pasta, SIZZLING OCTOPUS again for an entree, chicken fracese, snapper with pasta. All great!More

This was the best meal we had in Quepos/Manuel Antonio, and we tried probably 10 different restaurants. We ordered the ceviche, tuna, shrimp bruschetta, and the sausage and shrimp pasta that our waiter recommended. Everything was absolutely delicious. Our waiters were Dickson and another gentleman...whose name we didn’t manage to get, but they were both really wonderful. Highly recommend Gabriella’s.More

We were greeted by friendly staff and a beautiful view of the marina but then things went downhill. My son and I had steaks (he had a $60 filet mignon and I had the NY Strip). My son steak was clearly the end piece and...not a nice round cut that you would expect for $60. The top half was cooked well but the bottom was raw. We sent it back and they threw it onto the grill again. Definitely not a place that is going to start again. It came back a few minutes later at a better temperature but it was still pretty tough. My NY strip was over cooked and beyond tough. They gave me a steak knife but I needed a chainsaw. Oddly the top and bottom was white from being over cooked but the middle was red. It was like they pulled it out of the freezer, nuked it and then threw it on the grill. I really struggle to understand how to make a steak so bad. I had already sent one steak back and wasn’t going to start arguing over the other. My daughter had spaghetti and meatballs which were good so maybe pasta is a better bet here. They said the meatballs were made with wagu beef but I am pretty skeptical of that. My wife had the fresh fish of the day which was covered in sauce but fine.More

We had an excellent dinner for four. Service was great. The cocktails were excellent. We had the Wow Wow shrimp as an appetizer which was delicious. The sauce had a little kick but wasn't overpowering. Two of us had Mahi Mahi with the garlic potatoes...and veggies. It was excellent. The pasta with snapper was also excellent as was the mahi with Amaretto and avocado sauce. We shared a piece of cheesecake which was a nice finish. The prices were not outrageous. We made a reservation in advance and had a lovely table overlooking the marina. The restaurant is upstairs in a mall on the marina and there was free covered parking. The live music was very pleasant.More

I ordered a burger well done, it arrived raw. After speaking with the server I was compensated with a tiny cupcake. The most expensive cupcake I have ever seen. I gave it to someone else as do not eat them and just wanted the meal...I ordered. I had to pay for the meal even though I did not eat it. I feel I should not have had to pay or it. In the future I will spend my money in a place that does the right thing. I live in CR 4 to 5 months of the year for the last couple decades. Very few places we experienced have been disappointing in food, service or business practices, This was a disappointment.More

We had a wonderful experience at Gabriella’s. We had a delicious Caprese Salad, then the sea scallops, which were presented beautifully on a sizzling skillet. I had a perfect Mojito, and they had a good wine list. The owner, Mark, visited each table and was...very friendly. With the location on the marina, we enjoyed watching the boats come in, and a gorgeous sunset. The acoustic guitarist added to the ambience of the night. When we were finished, the hostess asked if we needed a taxi, and even escorted us to the location of where to wait. All in all, the menu, drinks, location, and people were top notch.More

We celebrated our friend’s 40th birthday at Gabriella’s given the high reviews, but no one from our party understood why the good reviews: the food was OK but overpriced and the service quite rude. Also they took a long time to have our food ready,...and then the waiter (can’t remember his name, but had a tattoo in the forearm/hand) told us in a very rude way that the restaurant was closing and even turned off the lights while still being there. Most likely will not go back.More

Having twice emailed the restaurant for a reservation, eventually I was able to speak to them on telephone and book although I was told the table would be at the bar. In the event, when we arrived they gave us a table and a good...one. A very smooth waiter, an old hand, schmoozed us and after cocktails, we ordered. My ceviche was excellent although nothing like a traditional one. I enjoyed every mouthful but was surprised when I was still eating it to be asked by the waiter “Are you finished sir “when very clearly I had not. I guess the kitchen had got ahead of itself but that is no excuse for pressurising your diners. Hence my average grading. This is supposed to be an upmarket establishment My lobster was okay though a little dry so perhaps it had been lying around for a while. The wine list is odd, very limited and it does not actually identify where the wine is from either by country or winery.A Chardonnay had the description of a heavy duty red. We ordered a taxi through the rrestaurant; I asked the driver to put that meter on but he ignored me and then tried to charge an inflated fair. Be warned.More

My wife and I were in Costa Rica for our first time . We feel so grateful that we found this place . From the moment we walked in we were made to feel like we were family . Mark the owner came and visited...with us and his wife made sure our 7 year anniversary dinner was 5 stars on every level ! We love octopus and have tried it at least 50 times . This was the best of all of them . If I owned a restaurant this would be the model I would use to emulate . I regret we found it on our last night , because we would have been back!More
