On a rainy night at Buru, we had the most wonderful dinner, candlelit and all. The food was prepared to perfection by a smiling lady chef, and exuded all the local flavors and subtle seasonings, that costa rican foods impart.Prices were incredibly reasonable, portions were generous, and we ended up taking leftovers back to our nearby hotel. We were also serenaded... We ate here at the conclusion of our tour of Manuel Antonio Park with Jade Tours. Our tour included a fruit smoothie and fresh fruit at Buru. Everything was so good that we decided to also order lunch. The service was exceptional and the food was delicious. Our group ordered Chicken and Rice, Burritos, and Cheeseburgers. Everything was freshly prepared,... More

It started pouring at the park, so we beat a hasty retreat. We were wet and sandy and hungry, so we were happy to go anywhere that would serve us. The two in our party that got seafood and rice loved it. I thought the chicken and rice was a little bland, but what do you expect? The big disappointment... More

100 meters outside the Parque is a fabulous little relaxing spot. The cerveza were cold, food good. The prices were reasonable and ok for kids. It was an open air place, so the breeze made supper cooler. The burger was good, chocolate cake tasty.

The food was delicious, and the service was really good despite us being the only customers there. The drinks were refreshing and checkout was fast and easy.

Great meals and drinks! Typical Costa Rican fare with broader options for desserts beyond watermelon and pineapple. Cute outdoor setting and good location. Honestly I can't remember what I ate, probably arroz con pollo (like every other restaurant), but the drinks and atmosphere were good!

The service at the checkout is really bad. They are lazy not bringing the separate receipts, and blaming us that we tell them too late. Also, I ordered the Shrimp Pasta, the taste is the worst. The vegetable looks very unfresh as well. They charge super high taxes, which is 13%, I have never seen this high in any other... More

Restaurant Buru was an outdoor restaurant with great service and great food, Serves Mexican and Costa Rican food. Also great drinks. (Try the Buru Sting with local Costa Rican rum!) Great selection of menu items and just a short walk from our bungalow at Hotel Vela Bar on the way to Manuel Antonio National Park.

Very well located at the entrance of Manuel Antonio´s National Park, this restaurant offers a good variety of typical Costa Rican and international food. We were part of a party of around 70 people and the restaurant's´s staff made a wonderful job in securing very good service and food quality. Great taste and a nice place!
