Nice place along the main road to take a break from touring. Typical Costa Rican dishes were fresh and tasty and their sweet fruit tea was very refreshing. Another plus was their clean restrooms.

We had a solid "tipico" lunch after a morning mangrove tour, including excellent plantains. The fruit tea was sweet and refreshing. The restaurant is attached to a motel, and is simple, open-air setting.

If you are looking to have good food, at a good price this is the place. The have a large selection of traditional costarican "bocas" (local word for appetizers ), with very good quantity and also taste. The prices are really good and they serve your meal without too much waiting time. This is a must stop from now on... More

I had the sea bass and my wife got the chicken fingers. Boy was she upset at her choice because my sea bass was excellent and while she enjoyed the chicken fingers she kept eyeing my fish and rice and beans.

Had a good reasonably priced lunch here. Friendly service. Nice local food. I would recommend this place. You eat under a roof with no walls, so it is hot.

Do not expect luxurious facilities or anything pretentious, but this is always a satisfying tipico Costarresense experience for taking a break for refreshments. Food is consistently prepared and delivered quickly, as customary in Tico establishments where all services except the actual cooking are provided by men. The building itself is of particular architectural interest, with several examples of a campo... More

Three years ago when my wife and I were visiting Manuel Antonio, our hotel staff recommended this place as a place where the locals go and best for typical tabla food. It was one of our best meals, so of course when we come back, it was our first stop into Quepos. Located on on highway 34, about 2 Km... More

We took our family of 10 for lunch on the way home from Manuel Antonio to San Jose. This was an excellent place to stop. We were able to see red iguana in the surrounding trees to keep us busy while we waited for food. The guacamole is dynamite and the nachos is a must order. They are big enough... More
