When we sat down and discussed the menu for Sancho's we agreed the menu had to have 3 things; fresh ingredients, big portions, and in a country where we believe things to be a little bit on the expensive side, fair priced meals. As far as the type of food we serve, people say Mexican, I say Mexican inspired. We make food we enjoy in hopes that our guests feel the same way. A lot of preparation and love goes into each dish that comes out of our kitchen. A majority of our meals do have some level of spiciness to them, if that is your thing give us a try. We have a full bar, we make fresh margaritas, no artificial sour mix in our drinks. Sancho's is a laid back vibe, feel free to come in after

The food is excellent in here. From the wet vegetarian Burrito to the ones with pulled pork and chicken for the kids. Everything was full of flavour and at a good price.

No friendly greeting as we were entered and were seated. No smile.
Vegetarian Taco came without beans. Server was confused as to whether it should have beans (lettuce taco ?!?). She gave us beans on side which we then pasted back into the taco.
Ate here for sunset dinner, it was recommended to us by our driver. Sunset mountain views did not disappoint. Play list was great, cool vibe in the place. They were playing everything from Bad Religion, Metallica, Cranberries, Counting Crows, and throw in some Rasta... Cool...More
I stayed in Manuel Antonio for two weeks, and I think that I visited this restaurant about 6 or 7 times. I ate the fish tacos almost every time. These tacos are really special! Lightly breaded fish (not greasy or deeply fried), is covered in...More

So if you were in Quepos, the mountain range you were looking at was likely the Talamanca mountain range. You might have been looking at Cerro Nara which is a great destination for horseback tours near that area, but I can’t be 100% certain. Regardless, that entire landscape is freaking amazing!
