We asked our resort if they had a suggestion for a restaurant where we could have dinner. They recommended El Gran Escape. It turns out that they were correct. The restaurant is near the ocean in Quepos. It is down the street from the Best Western and the new BLU hotel. It is an open air restaurant. The restaurant had... More

We were warmly welcomed and seated at a comfortable table. Leo, our server, looked after us well and explained some items on the menu. The food was tasty and the serving size was quite large. Best burger I've had in a long time. Service was attentive without being intrusive. I thought their prices were a good value.

We had dinner here and both fish dishes were very good. Our server was super friendly and worked hard to please us. Prices were average for this area and we would come back.

A group of seven of us tried this place. Fish tacos were one of the specials and they were excellent.

The food was delicious, however, it is a bit pricey about 15-24/person. Overall, food was delicious, service was great, and I would recommend it.

There were 6 of us for dinner. We started of with some mojitos, which I really enjoyed. The cevice is quite good. I had the hook ( fish sandwich), very fresh. My sister had the seafood dinner special ($23)...she loved it. Most menu items were less then that. The brownie sundae was to die for!!!!

Went here in the afternoon, great location, fun menu, and the food was really good. The restaurant is nice and open, quiet big. I had the best tuna salad ever, would certainly recommend it! Husband had the fish stew that was really tasty! Would recommend for a casual good meal

We read the great reviews for this restaurant and stopped in for lunch. We were the only people there. Our server was nice. However, for such an empty restaurant, we had to keep looking for him when we needed condiments, more water, etc. We found the food to be fine, but it was not special. We were starving so we...
