I've been eating at La Leda for many years and have yet to be disappointed. This is a favorite among Ticos and tourists alike. Very nice view at high tide when the water fills up the estero. The food is good and fresh. Try the Clamar Caribeno!

This is a great find in the area! It is actually in Caldera (not the city of Puntarenas) but it's well worth the short drive. The menu is heavy on fresh seafood but there are other options available. My pescado entero (whole fried fish) was huge and prepared to perfection. The staff was exceptional and worked together so that all... More

K8 & I moved to CR in May. Since then we have been out & about a lot & have found some terrific eats all over. We added La Leda to our list, after we had lunch there recently. Very busy (good), with a lot of locals filling the tables (very good). K8 had the most tender calamari ever, I... More

Intended for those who love eating good seafood... in big sizes! The restaurant has always been seriously consistent in giving out generous portions of excellent seafood. A wide menu of octopus, shrimp or fish alternatives (among others) will make you happy. Quick and efficient service while you enjoy the view at Mata de Limon´s estuary.

We stopped there because our friends told us that is a good place for eat. It was good, but maybe not so perfect how I was expecting and maybe little bit more expensive than the other high quality restaurants in area of Puntarenas. Sea food is really fresh and tasty, service is also good and fast. Fruit drinks could be... More
