The food is spectacular, fresh and perfectly cooked! The shrimp in the shrimp cocktail are the size of small lobsters, the black shells with garlic butter melt in your mouth . . . My favorite place for whole red snapper. The view is wonderful and the service top notch. Bueno Provecho!

I stayed at the DoubleTree Resort in Puntarenas, so this was the break I needed to enjoy some authentic Costa Rican cuisine! It was about a 10 minute taxi ride to the restaurant, and you absolutely get that "local" feel. Everyone was extremely friendly and patient (considering my level of Spanish is equivalent to that of a high schooler lol).... More

Definitely a seafood heaven, Prices are very convenient and their menu offers a huge variety of dishes. As it is very popular service might sometimes not be as good as one will like, specially during holidays or weekends.

If you travel through Puntarenas make this Restaurant a stop. Best 'seafood' I have had in Costa Rica for a LONG time. The Jumbo Shrimp in Garlic were 'Jumbo', fresh and delicious. Great plantain chips and salad. Great Service, great options and explanations of the menu. Most importantly is the best value by far for Seafood that I have found.... More

Your eyes will travel while delighting of a gorgeous view, if low tide or high tide, the grays and the black colors of the light will relax the rest of your senses and prepare you for true authentic flavors of Costa Rican natural and delicious cuisine. Starting with a nice cold beer and the opportunity of a small tapas is... More

I've been eating at La Leda for many years and have yet to be disappointed. This is a favorite among Ticos and tourists alike. Very nice view at high tide when the water fills up the estero. The food is good and fresh. Try the Clamar Caribeno!
