We have never been disappointed at this romantic restaurant! My hubby and I love different things; he loves seafood- me not so much- Our Place has a great selection to make both of us happy! I love the Filet w/ Angel Hair Padta and hubby...loves the Gumbo and the Crab Cakes! Excellent Wine Menu and Desserts! Totally recommend to all my clients and friends!More

Looking at it from the outside at night, was a little scary. However upon entering the floor to ceiling doors, we were completely amazed! The twinkle lights on the balcony, linen napkins, and just a warm atmosphere was perfect. The wait staff was well versed...and very polite. The crab cakes were the absolute best I had ever had!!! Highly recommend that dish as it is one of their specialties.More

Charming, inviting, rustic and quaint... that’s just the ambiance and the decor! The food was delicious! I had the shrimp thermodore with house vegetables.. It was creamy, rich, and seasoned perfectly! My husband had the Filet. He likes his meat “well done”... they obliged by...butterflying the filet and cooking it medium well. The flavor was delicious and seasoned perfect. For dessert we shared the Pecan Praline bread pudding with rum sauce... it’s not for the faint of heart. It was rich, moist, delectable and the best hands down anywhere! We will be back. The staff was attentive and very knowledgeable. 5 starsMore

Lovely dinning and great service. We save this place for our very special days. The food is prepared when you order, so do not expect to hurry in and out. Enjoy the dinning experience.

We arrived and were seated immediately. Our waitress Heather was attending our needs very quickly. She was very professional, kind, and her timing was perfect throughout our meal. The food was amazing as well. The portions were good too. The ambiance of this Cafe is...worth the price of admission IMHO. The Linen table cloths, linen napkins, and a candlelit table were really nice touches. We were very impressed and will be back again and again!More

My wife and I both had rib-eye steaks. They were tough and cooked medium rare. For over $30 for a steak, I expected much better. Baked potatoes were over cooked. Rolls were from a package. I’ll stay with Longhorn for steaks.

After having lived in Wetumpka for years, we finally went to Our Place Café. We got there at 5:00p.m. And we’re seated immediately. It was very dark inside, and it doesn’t get dark outside until about 8:30p.m. We sat for a few minutes and our...waitress, Heather, came over to greet us and take our drink order. We all ordered drinks. I must say that the top shelf Glen Livet was good, but it’s pretty hard to mess up a premium Scotch served Neat. When Heather returned with our drinks we ordered fried crab claws. They were fair, but at $16.00 for a third pound I would have thought they would have been much better. My wife ordered the Oysters, to which Heather replied, “That’s not one of our most popular items.” At that point, my wife opted to have a salad. My son ordered the Shrimp Dianne and I ordered a ribeye. When our salads came they had mixed greens a shred or two of purple onion and two or three cherry tomatoes, which were overly ripe. We waited about 10 minutes and Heather brought out Oysters for my wife )after she had opted for the salad). The Oysters has a decent flavor the breading was fairly good but they were raw on the inside. They just weren’t cooked properly. The Shrimp Dianne came out and my ribeye came. My son said the Shrimp Dianne was good. My steak, although a ribeye, was very close to 40% fat. The lighting was so dim that I could not even tell if the steak was prepared properly. Upon eating the steak, I found that the edges of the part that was not fat were well done and the middle of the steak was “medium” at best. It was in no way shape or form medium rare as I ordered it. The seasoning was so black and wet, it was shiny. The steak had a fair taste, but it wasn’t cooked properly. The veggies that were served with it were bland. The baked potato wasn’t quite done and the inside wasn’t fluffy. Another 10 minutes in the over would have made it perfect. For desert, I had the chocolate peanut butter pie. It was quite possibly the best thing on the menu. It was wonderful. My wife had the bread pudding and said it was good. The service was fair, and the food was just almost mediocre. This simply was not worth the more than $160.00 we paid. I don’t mind paying if the food is good, but this was, for the most part, an epic fail.More

If you want a cozy place with mood lighting, while enjoying a nice meal with someone special this is the place to go. You won’t be disappointed with the steaks. (That’s the only thing we eat here) So I cant judge any other dishes. My...husband and I go occasionally. The owners and staff are very nice. It is a nice romantic type atmosphere. However, don’t expect to leave paying less than $100 for two. It is a bit pricey.More

My husband and I went on a Thursday evening for my birthday. It had been almost 12 years since I had been (we ate here before senior prom). It was just as wonderful as I remembered. We shared a cup of gumbo as an appetizer...and it was rich and very tasty. My husband had the crab cakes and I had the egg plant pasta. Both were excellent and of all thing... the ranch dressing is the best! We can't wait for another excuse to go back.More

Really cool look to this place. A local hangout for sure. The eggplant parmigiana was fantastic and I could not believe the size of their crab claws. Very good. I had a doggy bag when I left. Reasonable prices, but not a place to order...wine. I understand it though. You have to cater to your clientele. Your not going to find wine drinkers like me in Wetumpka. Just order something else!More
