The Barbeque, sausage, fish, burgers- it's all good. Small, family friendly spot does a robust carry out business. You will not go away hungry.

Regular customer and I like this restaurant very much and will continue to eat here. I had the chopped chicken plate which is usually very good but today the chicken was chopped into much smaller chucks and I think this had a lot to do...with it drying out and having less of the usually good moist taste. Rest of meal was fine but I was looking forward to some tasty chicken. Maybe next time?More
You’ll need to check out their times before you go. The barbecue sandwiches and stew are good. Fairly quick service. Good for catering or buying in bulk.
I drove past this restaurant several times hoping to check it out but they were always closed. I didn't know their hours of operation. Even thought they might be out of business. I'm glad they weren't because this restaurant is truly a jewel and is...far above any other restaurant in this area and I've eaten at several of them. If you're looking for a great restaurant that consistently serves great meal at a reasonable price with friendly staff check this restaurant out...you will not be disappointed!More
Great food and quick service. I've used them for catering in the past, they were good. I would eat there more often if they were a little less pricey.
We usually call and order to go plates and always enjoy it. The sauce is delicious! Sometimes we order the BBQ plate and others a pound of BBQ.
Great BBQ place. I live nearby and this is the go to BBQ place for me. The BBQ is not expensive and the people are nice.
Orders were taken promptly at the counter. There's seating in booths and tables in this small country style restaurant. You pick up your food when they call your name and get your own beverage. My companion ordered a meat-covered salad on iceberg lettuce and ranch...dressing and she seemed to enjoy it. I had a BBQ plate with fries, "Champ" stew served with a slice of white bread. The thin fries were fresh and served hot. The BBQ sauce was too sweet for my taste and there were two small razor sharp bones the size of my thumbnail in the chopped pork. Corn bread would have been better than light bread with the stew, which was not an appealing color. I did not eat but a bite or two of it, I think it needed more tomato base to be traditional camp stew. The sweet tea was very good. The price was over $10.00 for my lunch plate. No one checked on us during our meal and we cleared our own table. It was an average overall experience.More
This is a very small place. The staff is super friendly. I love the Champ stew. It stays busy at lunch because they have consistently good food. It is a local favorite.
This place is one of our best examples of why you should eat at a local owned store. This is a family owned business that aims to please and do it well!!! Good food and good prices with the most friendly service you will get!...If you even just travel through once in a while... stop here and your gonna have new friends to stop in to see every time you come through!! Your order is called by name, and from that moment.. they know your name!! lol.. It amazes me, when your there they know every person. Even the new ones, it's cool!!! Not to mention that full belly you will have without destroying your wallet! The food is fast and affordable with good people serving you. Truly a rare spot on our local map!!!More
