The food at Must Stop is consistently very good. A dependable spot for a meat and three. The service is always friendly. Can be crowded so be prepared to wait for a table- it'll be worth the wait.
The food and service is great! Good folks in a small town setting! It’s a meat and vegetable lunch menu, get there before the 12 noon rush.
I recently visited las Vegas, and went to a seafood restaurant named "Hushpuppies" with some friends that was quite a distance from the strip on a street called Charleston blvd, which is just a block or so east of the Stratosphere (aka. STRAT) Hotel and...Casino, make a left turn, and then drive approximately 4 to 5 miles until you cross a street called RAINBOW and the establishment will be to your left, (you'll have to make a quick you turn into the parking lot) but folks it's the best in the west, as far as I am concerned.👍 the seafood is cooked southern style with louisiana/Texas flavors, and they have an extremely fresh salad bar that has this uniquely made pickled green tomato sauce mixture that is the best I've ever tasted, but nowhere else other than in southern states, but before you get to the salads, the waitress/waiter will have served you a basket of their specialty hush puppies, and please Hear ye! Hear ye! You have never tasted hush puppies, until you taste these, served hot with fresh creamy honey-butter, yummmmmmmmmmyyyyy!! Be careful, or you won't have any room left for an entree, and I would hate for you guys to miss out on scrumptious baked, grilled, or fried fish, I'm talking real finger licking good stuff folks, and they even serve tea southern-style, using the Mason jars for your delight.😋 More importantly folks, did I tell ya that the prices are extremely affordable for singles and families, considering the quantity and quality of food that you get, especially when comparing them to any of the hotel seafood restaurants or buffets on the strip, or anywhere else as far as that matters.(and believe me, I am not talking against the strip establishments in anyway whatsoever, nor attempting to deter anyone from them, I'm just saying there or great places to dine and enjoy outside the strip, and to each, his/her own!!) Now before I share this little secret gem with y'all, please allow me to announce that, NO!! THIS IS NOT A BUFFET ESTABLISHMENT in any way, shape, form, or fashion, but because I want you guys to take a break from the slot-machines, crap/poker/blackjack tables, or whatever other games you're playing and losing your money on, and experience another part of vegas that you probably didn't know existed, and of course, be able to share in some much deserved friend/family/me time, away from the very smoky, crowded, and fast-paced strip, and perhaps even save yourself some money that you would have otherwisr thrown away in the casinos, at least for a couple of hours or so anyway, and I can assure you that you will be happy at the end of your dining experience, whereas at many of the strip-hotel buffets or fine dining restaurants, "probably not so much", or at least, it has been my experience dining on the strip, regardless of whether it was $100 and up per person, or $20 per person.... Warning!! This place is addictive people, I have been back 4 times already in a week, and I don't normally eat the same foods for dinner more than once per month or so by choice. Oh yeah, before I forget the restaurant opens at 5pm most days, so please google the number and call first. However, the great staff and superb dining experience is well worth the wait. Happy dining folks!!😁👍😎More
Overall this is a good place to eat. The food is very reasonably priced. Service is top rate and the choice of sides is good. I was just expecting more, based on reading TripAdvisor reviews. What was I expecting? Great healthy home-cooked food. What I...got: Typical fried food and simple sides. I had Lima beans that appeared to originate in a can. I was sure the corn bread came from a box, and I would swear the Peaches and Cream desert was made from a box cake, cool-whip and canned peaches. The one exception to this experience was the collard greens. My wife ordered a double portion and then when I ordered desert, she ordered more greens. They were that good. Service was super fast and attentive. Their simple menu helps deliver food very quickly.More
This is the best home cooking in Wetumpka Al. It is not far from the Casino and a whole lot cheaper !
Just left this cafe. The food was good. Very simple meat & 3. They offered a complimentary tea because someone didn’t show up then put it on the bill. We both ordered a simple meat & 2-not much to taking the order. But were then...charged meat and 3. My husband paid the bill and doesn’t really check. So I didn’t discover it until we left. To write the order down it wasn’t that hard yet completely got the bill wrong. Seriously? She did bring me a sample of a rutabaga which was nice. Maybe she charged me for it? It was one bite.More
Driving to Florida and stopped here just based on reviews. My husband and I both had vegetable plates: rutabaga, field peas, cabbage, turnip greens, squash dressing, Mac n cheese and zipper peas. All were delicious, served hot and NOT greasy. I also tried the Buttermilk...pie for dessert, which had a very nice and flaky crust. Clean and good health rating. A crowd gathered at the door before it opened but we were served quickly. Great food!More
