Visited Kapi Kapi several years ago, and their Mahi Mahi dish I had there, remains the best thing I have ever eaten in my 41 years on this earth, to this day. I have considered travelling to Costa Rica so I can visit again, and in fact I should be in the area within next few months. It is not... More

Yum! This is now one of my favorite dining locations ever. The vibe was lovely and chill and the music was stellar... Mood was set for romance for sure. The staff made extra effort to create a pleasant night for us. On top of it, we were literally blown away by the food. I didn't know chicken could taste that... More

Wow, one of the most romantic dinners I've ever experienced. We had the entire restaurant to our selves. Our waiter was phenomenal, his name is Walden. What I loved about the experience was the romantic feeling I had the entire time, the music, the outstanding food (we ordered the chicken dish and vegetable pad Thai), the candles they brought out... Terrible food. Poor choice in the menu. Pretend Asian but just another Costa Rican variation. The actual restaurant looks lovely but the food was a real disappointment.

The setting was nice, the staff very attentive but the food was mixed. Avoid the steak and go for the seafood seemed to be the right move M

We'd heard a lot about Kapi Kapi and had high expectations. it was a very quiet night when we went - just us and one other couple. The service was average, as was the food (we both had fish), so the prices seemed high based on the overall experience. There are better places to eat in the area for less... More

Our family of 5 ate here on July 33rd. Lovely building and very nice setting. Service was great. The food was good too. Way too expensive. Go to some of the places where some of the locals may eat.

We had high expectations going to Kapi Kapi after reading some positive reviews. It was a beautiful open air restaurant with friendly and attentive waitstaff. My husband ordered the snapper and it was served with eggplant and zucchini. The fish was smothered in a dense buttery sauce that was far too heavy. He had to push the sauce aside to get... More

We loved this place. We were treated like royalty. The food was perfect and wine was perfect, the atmosphere was perfect. It was expensive but that was no different than any other good restaurant in Costa Rica. People have the misconception that everything is cheap in Costa Rica. Not so. You get what you pay for. Our waiter, the owner,... More

My partner and i went to kapi kapi on the recommendation of the concierge at our hotel telling us that it was a special occasion restaurant. We decided to check it out and were extremely disappointed from the time we walked in. The place was disorganized and unready for customers. The restaurant does not have any bottled wine which we...
