Today was our last day in Manuel Antonio, and we finished it off in style with a visit to Emilio's Cafe. Our waiter provided the recommendations for drinks, entrees and dessert and they were all amazing including the "free" shots at the end. A musician playing instruments from West Africa topped off our last magical evening in this beautiful part... More

We ate dinner at Emilio's on Thursday evening. The restaurant was very busy, but they managed to seat us at a table with a beautiful view. I ordered the chicken curry and was pleasantly surprised with the flavor. It was not too rich and the portion was just right. My husband had the special which consisted of snapper, shrimp, and... This was our favorite meal in Manuel Antonio/ Quepos area. The food was delicious and the service wonderful with a great vibe, open air setting and live music. The desserts and freshly brewed coffee made the perfect ending. Our teenage sons enjoyed the food and music. Waiter joked with them. It's walking distance from La Mariposa Hotel and we stopped... We went on Sunday to Emilio's cafe, for a quick brunch. While most of us had sandwiches, the curry was the surprise. As a New Yorker, we know and love curry. This curry was a cross of Thai and Indian. The octopus appetizer was delicious as was the seafood soup. The lattes that we had were also good. They are... More

by myself I expected mediocre treatment. They did a fine job of steering me toward the excellent specials and truly had a wonderful night on the town

We went for dinner after our tour guide recommended the restaurant. From the outside it looks like it's a coffee shop, but don't let the sign fool you. My wife and I both had curry, fish for her and chicken for me, and we both thought it was the best meal we'd had during our vacation in Costa Rica. The... More

Very good-Emilio's was recommended to us and we all had something different. Every single dish was very good. Great view. Loads of dessert choices (not common in Manuel Antonio), all homemade. Delish!

We had mains and dessert here. Whilst the mains weren't bad what really stood out for me here were the cakes - definitely stop by for coffee and cake! Lovely view too.

We were amazed when we ordered bowls of curry, and my wife had a Thai-style seabass in a coconut broth, and they were all really good. We lived in NY for 13 years, so we know good Indian and Thai, and this place is up to snuff. The cocktails were strong (most cocktails in Costa Rica taste like lemonade). My... More

We both decided on various versions of shrimp. Shrimp in garlic sauce was actually prawns with the head on so it was extra tasty. Wife had fish and shrimp which was also good.
