Busy exciting place. I came in for a to go order and felt ignored. But it looked like everybody was having a great time.

We heard great things about this place and made a reservation for dinner. We were lucky enough to have a seat overlooking the garden, with a nice breeze. There was even a local artist performing on guitar. We really enjoyed the drinks: Guaro Sour and Margarita jalepeno. The fried calamari was perfectly breaded and tasty. Our entrees were the falafel... More

Such a nice place. Good recommendation on food and drinks from the staff. Excellent margarita and wonderful food. The Live guitar music completed the expiring. Highly recommended.

Stopped by for a little snack before heading out to the jungle. The food is amazing. We had freshly caught poke tuna and a Greek Pita. So good, so fresh, so perfect. The views are amazing. Watched a family of Titi Monkeys. Go this place a definite go.

We enjoyed ourselves in this authentic Costa Rican restaurant. Food was good. Service was a bit slow but overall a good experience.

I visited Emilio's for lunch with my family. The food was tasty but the salads and pitta were limited in their main ingredients e.g. cheese, smoked salmon. The fish curry and fish fingers from the childrens' menu were however very nice and portions were generous. Service was lacking unfortunately and we had to hail the waiter a couple of times... More

Nice decor and good menu. Rather pricy. Good service but every 2 minutes there is somebody at your table asking if you are okay or finished. We had at last file different waiters. We fel as if everything needed to be in a hurry. 40 minutes after arrival we were done, dessert included. Not a nice experience. The food was... More

Great breakfast. We especially liked huevos rancheros with corn tortillas. Sauce was a little spicey not too sloppy. Portion size was perfect. They were accompanied by a little salad and a quarter avocado. ENERGY until mid-afternoon. Buckwheat Waffles were very tasty. A purist's delight. We had read about the almond cookie so had to go for one to split after... More

Great views, great views, great service. After a long road trip from Santa Theresa we made it to Manuel Antonio and checked in to our hotel. The front desk clerk told us a few great places to eat and we chose Emilio's cafe for lunch. The seared sea bass with shrimp, and the tuna was to die for. So much... More
