We stumbled across this little restaurant on our first night in Manuel Antonio and were pleasantly surprised. Each of us ordered a dish on the menu and found it to be enough for two meals. We asked for take away boxes and took it back with us to reheat for dinner tomorrow. I had the fried rice and it was... More

I read a lot of positive reviews for Ngo, but I was greatly disappointed and don't recommend this restaurant. Firstly, the restaurant is tiny and unbearably hot. We ordered several dishes and were underwhelmed by them all. The fish I ordered was batter fried and in a heavy sauce (80% batter and 20% fish) and was almost inedible. The fried... More

Definitely not as good as we expected. Not as good as the Chinese we get in the states and they don't give you any soy sauce. It was ok but probably wouldn't order again.

First the owners are wonderful people.Service cordial quick effective. Now the food I Love the wings always make it a point to stop in at least once. The spicy and sweet chicken is amazing. If you want something different cheap and incredibly good stop in.

My family stayed just about 5 or 10 minutes away from Ngo near Manuel Antonio and we were spent from our day excursions. My Spanish is very limited but I was able to call and place an order for the family without our designated translator. The food was what we expected, which was great as we weren't sure what to... What a great little gem in the heart of Manual Antanio village , not too far from the Manual Antanio National Park and the beach. It's one of the best Asian/Chinese food . Kong and his wife Susan , super friendly owners, takes great pride in their cooking and they should because their food speaks of it. Everything was great... More

We are in Manuel Antonio several times a year and each time we make sure to eat at Ngo about once a week. It is our favourite restarant in the MA area. Last night's meals were great as usual. I had the Spicy Orange Chicken and my husband who is a vegetarian, the Lo Mein. Everything was fresh, well prepared... More

I have a home in Manuel Antonio, so I've eaten a Ngo more than a few times, but after my last trip I felt compelled to say, "OMG this stuff is great!" The fried rice was absolutely killer. The pot stickers were fabulous with some soy sauce laced with hot pepper and of course the wings were incredible. The combo... More

This place makes excellent chinese and thai dishes. They prepare their sauces fresh and it shows in the taste. Great place to eat if you are looking for a reaaa..l casual place or carry out. Other chinese places in town are really inauthentic.

Great little gem with fabulous spring rolls, delicious dumplings & delicious lo mein! Our second experience with this restaraunt and we were very happy with the food & the service. Fast service & good pricing.. Great take-out option when you're in the area..
