This place was recommended to us by our hired driver, who has lived in Quepos all his life and seems to know everything about the whole area. We really enjoyed the open-air concept--especially being right across the street from the beach. We were able to people watch and just enjoy the ocean breeze while noshing on our dish of Fried... We ate a pancake, eggs, sausage bacon and crispy potatoes. We also had the burrito and the Tico breakfast. Their coffee is excellent, Cappuccino , espresso and coffee con leche. It get better, Steven and Luis were excellent servers and recommend a great fishing Guide and boat! A Memorable experience!!

Always wary of restaurants in touristy areas, but this place was recommended by our guide Michael Araya Flores. What a score! Some of the best calamari we've ever eaten, plus an amazing catch of the day. Red Snapper with Limoni wedges. Add ice cold beer and a strong wifi signal to the mix and you have a winning combination.

Server was very rude. We asked for 1 extra tortilla as we had more shrimp & only a few tortillas and he wouldn't give us another - Very rude, we will not go back!

We were not overly impressed with the menu, so we went with drinks and a couple appetizers. Our girls got milkshakes, which were actually chocolate milk. Neither finished. Our fried shrimp was tasty, and the ceviche was very flavorful. I wish it was served with something other than saltine crackers. The ceviche was the highlight.

Excellent casados, good salads, good tacos, tasty sangria, two for one deal on drinks at happy hour I think, it was good sangria and refreshing fans overhead. Nice service. We went here once for lunch and once for dinner. Good each time.

One of the employees at the hotel said he had eaten here so we tried it. We expected better quality food and reasonable service. The food and service were below average and the prices were above average. I think they must survive based upon unsuspecting tourists, their highly-visible location, and a lack of alternatives in the immediate area.

I was quite disappointed by lunch at the Marlin, which was recommend by the guide from our hotel. I suspect he got some sort of kickback as he walked us in after our tour of Manual Antonio Park. The food tasted like it came more from a cafeteria than a sit-down restaurant. And the service was inattentive. Our lunch bill... More
